It's so adorable when Jackson seems to look for Ellie in the Lego Portrait. Ollie from Daily Bumps did the same thing, looking for his mommy in the family portrait! Says a lot about the love they have for their moms :)
Sometimes people are grumps, they just need someone to be extra kind to them even though they're frustrating as can be. You know what they say; don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things. Also, that Lego portrait...uhm, NEATO!! Imagine the hand cramps from making that!
I Love that Lego made that for you as a Father's Day gift. When your children have so much fun being with their cousins and exploring new places it makes the experience so much more memorable and those are memories that they will always treasure. I had a very similar thing happen to me yesterday at work. There was a newborn baby crying at the check out lane next to me, and I could tell that someone else in my line was mad at the baby crying. When she got to the register I asked how she was and she gave the nastiest reply, "if I wanted to hear screaming then I would have gone to Walmart". Note that I work at a pretty decent Target, and we usually don't get those kind of customers. I kind of ignored her and tried to remain professional. It was so frustrating to hear someone be so rude. The new mother was trying her best with the baby and her older children. I feel so bad for both your, Ellie and the mother at the store.
When I watch an Ellie & Jared vlog, I can feel the endorphins kick in. It's like when I pet my dog and just feel the love. My heart rate goes down and I calm down and feel so serene. I just love this family. Do they realize what they do? They're just on a whole nother level of being. I love them so much!!!!

Those people that gave you dirty looks probably don't have kids or are having a bad day and taking it out on you because you provided them with an small insignificant "inconvenience". On another note I love kids and I always acknowledge them on buses or planes or trains etc. But I always feel like a creep when I ask them questions... I'm a teacher so it just comes naturally to me to do that, but I've gotten dirty looks from parents before when interacting with their kids.

The other day I was riding my bike around on the sidewalk with a couple of friends and an old lady walks up to me and gives me like a death look and yells at me to get off the sidewalk. We have every right to be on the sidewalk. And your family is the most well mannered, and most wonderful family on TH-cam!! ❤️(in my opinion)
You should take the boys to Lego Land in California, near San Diego. It is much bigger and lots of rides and even a Lego Land Hotel they would love. I took 5 of my grand kids on my 60th birthday and we spend a few days and they loved it. They have a buffet that is kid size so the kids can get their own food.
Jared is so funny😂. I love your family. Ellie your boys are very well behaved. Maybe that lady was having a bad day or she just has no patience. Keep doing what your doing!💕

I love that you went to visit Julie in Missouri. I live in Oklahoma which is 3 hours away from Missouri. I enjoyed watching you guys react to the weather and nature we have in this part of the US which is very different from Utah. Nothing worse than cranky people especially when you're traveling with littles! I've done many flights with my 3 and 1 year old boys who also love it and do well and it totally makes my day when people compliment them! I like to think most people are understanding!
