  • It's been a busy two weeks with a little progress on a couple of small stitches, and a lot of progress on Lady of the Flag. And I somehow manage to knit a bit!

Found you today and your cat caught my eye! You have some beautiful cross stitch and yarn projects. Thanks for sharing!

Seeing your face and hearing your voice just made my whole day!! And kitty hijinks as well? My cup runneth over! ❤

Aw... I ran into Jake on the concourse the other day and he said y'all might be headed out around Education Week. Yes? No? We'd love to see you if you are! (And if you have time maybe we could gather the gals for a stitch day.)

Yay! Your video really cheered me up after the stress of moving! A tip for cutting...they have little sticky dots you can put on your rulers to make them nonslip. That's what I did to keep my cuts from going all cattywampus. You can try those. Lovely stitching as always!

Oooh, I should try adding the nonslip dots. I'm feeling a bit sew-ie and would like to make my simple project bag this weekend.
How are Hecate and the boys settling in? Princess disappears for a couple of weeks to a month every time we move.

@kayinthecave The boys are fine. They're busy exploring and absolutely LOVE the screened in back porch. Hecate is just now considering acknowledging my existence again, but she's made it perfectly clear that SHE IS NOT HAPPY. Not only that, but she's positive she'll get dirty if she goes outside on the porch and she's not having it. 🤣

Hi Kay, I was poking around areas of TH-cam Studio I haven't been in before and found that you're a subscriber of my channel! I haven't seen your channel before and I do enjoyed your chatter! I'm sorry about the work transitioning. One of my coworker friends chose to retire when our dental office went digital. 😂 She had no interest in learning it all. Your winter and Valentine stitching is lovely! Have a happy Valentine's Day!

I just take long pauses here and there. I'm glad you found me again. :)

    Workday…. Yuck 😣
We have to use it now for our HR stuff… I really do not like it - I can understand your frustration using it for the accounting side of things…
    Hope it eventually gets better..
Love watching Princess in the background of your videos 😻
    Hugs xx

What's really sad is the HR side of things is supposed to be the stronger, better working side of things. The accounting side is kinda awful.

Aren't software developers so lovely in that they never seem to actually test their products and/or upgrades with actual people who use said software? SO FRUSTRATING!! You've made a lot of great progress. Loved seeing all your pieces! I'm tired of adulting taking so much of my crafty time, LOL Good to catch up with you today!

Hope the work thing gets better. New software is for the birds, no???

Oh yes, definitely for the birds. I find myself muttering "it shouldn't be this hard" often.
