Unfortunately whitebeard did not capable using colour of haki because of his injuries and akainu also logia, like a powerful over the top logia. Half assed haki didn't gave him a serious injury like in the punk hazard, fighting prime aokiji full fresh.
Wouldn't whitebeard's attack still be strong since it's enhanced with DF abilities? I know logia is immune to physical attacks but I would imagine pure seismic waves would hurt Akainu in some way.
