Its a pleasure to hear and see a Master Watchmaker take the time to explain the parts of a watch. Truly the zen of horology.
    Thank you !

A former electronics co-worker was unable to learn clock terminology and was annoyed that the people on a forum kept correcting him, trying to figure out what he was talking about. He told me that any clock with a pendulum was a cuckoo clock, and I couldn't change his mind. Otherwise, he was a good worker.

I started liking watches by TV shows that showed a pocket watch, and that got me in this rabbit hole like the white rabbit in Alice in wonderland, now I started seeing that the watches have their own history or some brands do. And it's fascinating getting to know all this, that I'm at the point that I want to learn how they work, every little piece is important and I want to learn how to be a watch maker. The only problem is that I'm living in Mexico, and I really don't know if there are any universities or schools that teach horology so I'm kind of bumpt out. Plus I'm 25 years old I'm not sure if that's a bad age to start studying horology
