I like stealthy camper vans, so people don't pay attention.

I like the wet/dry separation of the bathroom, but the wet area looks too small to shower in. It looks to be about 60 cm (24”) square. It would be better if it were 60x75cm (24x30in). The divider wouldn’t have to go all the way to the corner when not in shower mode. They could probably make the sink a fold up, and turn the toilet diagonal to get the space.

      Why do you like Sprinters?
They appear to be a) Expensive, b) Too narrow, c) Rust prone.

I THINK BECAUSE THEY MAYBE BUILT BETTER..BUT EXPENSIVE! KINDA LOOKING AT CLASS C NOW!

@@milesgentry850 Are Mercedes built better? From 2000 to 2002 Mercedes had sills, floorpans and wheel arches rusting out on most of their cars, and gearboxes imploding due to fault radiators feeding glycol into them.
Then there is the Sprinter, famed for thin paint and rust for years.
But I will say the Mercedes do know how to fuel an engine. Unlike VW, who don't ever seem to grasp the correct fuel air mixture for anything, the Crafter and T6 still suffer from this.
But then Fiat and Groupe PSA also know how to fuel an engine, as do most other makers on the planet, so that might not be a unique feature, just one that beats the hopeless VW vans ;)

The shower area looks small, but inside it's all one needs.

Hi Alan,, I think the Fiat Ducato,, had the best interior and FP for the price.

Yes but a FIAT is always a FIAT. Get what you pay for.

@@CG-99 Good value is what you get!
And 2 years free roadside assistance, but most are very reliable.
When the sprinter rusts to pieces, the Fiat (Sevel, PSA Groupe included) will still be useful.

@@G-ra-ha-m each to their own experiences and choices. My FIAT experience was very painful and expensive and put me off the brand for life. Without writing ag great length I had multiple inexcusable mechanical and serious bodywork issues.

    • @G-ra-ha-m
      @G-ra-ha-m 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@CG-99 You should know that the Sevel van is not really a Fiat, it's a collaboration between Fiat and Groupe PSA.
The Ducatos have the Fiat engines and gearboxes, but the PSA used to have Ford engines, and now have the excellent PSA diesel in them.
Also the commercial van sector is different from domestic cars, so your experience may not be transferable.
Out of the many thousands of vans, most are of the Sevel type, they are famous for low rust and seem to work well most of the time.
If you want to see a van with the worst reliability, the VW T6 takes all awards!

@@CG-99 Great conversation guys!! Hi,, I'm not familiar with the Fiat myself,, I just prefer the floor plan and layout. If it had or sat on a Ford Chassis,, then I would be able to contribute.:)
I'm sorry you had so many difficulties with your Fiat,, but I think @Graham explained it very well. "Hi Graham",,:)

The fact that Mega is charging a real fortune for this small vehicle - the space inside of a Poessl is bigger! Is just taking advantage of the trendy market and Mercedes, most likely this even only based on a 316 with a small 4 cylinder engine ,
Thanks for the review but anyone having the finances for 100 grand should better look around to make his mind up! There is better on the market,
I personally would never spend that money for an Mercedes upgraded Kastenwagen.
    Warmest regards

The Sprinter is also the wrong shape, so you cannot have transverse beds and the bathroom is narrow at the top. The Peugeot based Globecars are considerably more useful and so much cheaper, you could by 2 and still have money over..

The front takes almost 1 meter of the vehicle space. that's why the 7 meter . Cant wait for electric camper van revolution and no more need for all mechanical space. No need for aerodynamic, those future vehicle with auto pilot can drive at night when you sleep and the are no traffic. so 60 km h would be great for range.

0:25 The options are expensive too, over €1000 for 140W solar.
      Cheaper to stay in hotels..
