Parrot is a bird who has year too like your parrot is 2 monthes old he is now kid for that i have two parrot one is of 2 monthes and second is of 8 year old first i teach to second parrot who is 8 year old and after 1 months he began to talk then i teach to 2 monthes old parrot after 1 months he did not talk after 2 monthes he did not talk everyday i teach her but he did not talk so it work on only 5-9 year old .

Sort of yeah, but you can still try to teach it maybe it'll pick it up eventually. Keep talking with your bird, they're very talkative.
