actress and actors could understand this masterpiece because most of them also start from theatre which the body language and facial expressions is playing a big role
I thought this too of any place for this to be truly understood would be this award show honestly actors have to deal with conveying emotions in similar ways

연기대상에서 배우들이 무대 이렇게 집중해서 보는건 또 처음이네 ㅋㅋㅋ 그만큼 퀄리티 개쩔긴함
Monika understood that this audience would understand this dance. Actors are artists too. I don’t understand the lyrics of the song but I understood the message of this performance. Touched me so much. I haven’t felt this way about a performance in a long time. Dancing 9, a previous dance show in mnet, produced great performances too. I loved many performances in that show but this one is on par with that. What a beautiful choreography and such a touching performance!
Can you tell me the message Monika tries to give in this performance? I know the lyrics of the song but idk about the meaning of the dance itself.

@@Minazuki451the end & the beginning of an year. Kayday starts the dance(the past year), monika cues the ‘break’(the end & and the beginning), and lipj ends the dance(the new year). While im not a big fan of the camerawork here i do think the symbolic value & the context this ceremony has(a prestigious end-of-the-year ceremony which like the 90% sk population watches to commemorate an occasion even if they arent rly into drama series and the alike) kinda adds some considerable amount of cultural relevance (n thus some symbolic value) to the perf…
Yall should also check out the live perf version too. With the lighting the theme gets significantly easier to identify(red, signifying the past > blue, the dawn/the breakpoint > another shade of red/new beginnings).
This is what they deserve, they should be invited to more show. I'm so touched by actors/actreeses reaction.
All dancers deserve their own stage not only for idols stage as back dancer.
imo, what makes prowdmon a perfect group to bring on for a drama awards show is the fact that every piece monika does, it is always done with a message to send and an emotion to spread to the viewers. You can see it in all of prowdmon’s faces that they are acting and delivering with their faces and movements, something that actors and actresses can relate to instead of doing a piece that’s all about hype or being lit

The sheer amount of musicality in this choreography is impressive! Monika has the ability to turn certain feelings into movement so well, and not everyone can do that. Years ago when I discovered K-pop, I was drawn to the perfect dance and synchronicity that the groups brought; I'm happy to see that the dancers, who made this possible, are finally getting a chance to showcase their skills on a platform that so many people watch.

무대도, 관객도, 댄서도 서로가 가장 잘 어울리는 공연이 아니었나싶네여...
공연 보니 눈물이 나네요. 다사다난했던 작년한해를 보내는게 너무 힘들었는데 마음에 위로를 주는 춤입니다.

엄청난 몰입감
예술의 전당에서 볼 법한 무대같다
항상 공연에 대한 배우들의 태도가 문제되곤 했는데, 올해만큼 배우들이 공연을 이렇게 집중하면서 감동하는 모습은 처음 보는 것 같다.. 그만큼 프라우드먼의 위상이 돋보이는 것 같네요. 정말 연말을 마무리하는 시상식에 걸맞은 퀄리티인 것 같아요 감동이에요 정말ㅠㅠ
어떤 마인드를 가져야 잘되는지가 알려진거겠죠 여기서조차 누군가의 위상만을 생각하는건좀,,
그게 아니고 일어나서 들썩들썩 손 흔들고 신난 표정 지어야 하는 아이돌 무대가 아니라
가만히 앉아서 집중하고 보기만 해도 되는 편한 무대라 그런 거 아닐까?
The Street Woman Fighter Champion that we never had. I got goosebumps while watching the performance. This showed how creative and passionate Prowdman are in every pieces they make!

진짜 프라우드먼은 이렇게 색다른 장르를 하는데 흡입력이 쩔어서 거부감 없이 받아들이게 하는게 젤 큰 장점인거같음 근데 중간중간 카메라가 너무 별로인 부분이 있어서..배우님들 직캠 공유해주세요ㅠ
모니카는 보면 볼수록 너무 멋짐 솔직히 호불호가 갈릴수 있는 예술성 있게 안무를 만드는데 누구는 좋아할수있고 누구는 싫어 할 수 있기에 그냥 대중성 있거나 사람들이 좋아할만한 멋진거 간지나는거로 할수도 있는데 자신만에 길을 자신만에 확고한 생각을 굽히지 않고 계속해서 보여주면서 불호인 사람들까지 이해하게 만드는거 같음 너무 멋짐
literally goosebumps no words can explain how in awe i am. i love love how they are so artistic. dance is literally another language and prowdmon made that language. i hope the hype for dancers never dies because i cant believe we never saw all these performances until 2021.
Monika's chorégraphies hits so hard ... It is like the art of the true soul , the deep soul you hide from everyone , while you smile and be tough to the world , inside their is that beauty in everyone , it feels just like that ,this performance

This is what i love about PROWDMON.. Their versatility when it comes to dancing.. All genres combined together.. They deliver the message of the song distinctively and deeply.. The emotion of the music comes out with their performance..
Prowdmon always delivered performances that contains a message and it may not be SWF's cup of tea but I truly appreciate all the effort they put into their craft. You did well, guys! Also, Lip J looks very pretty with that wet hair look. 🙂

See how could a beautiful, powerful, emotional masterpiece created by Monika and the members of Prowdmon can move the hearts of all these actress and actors but the not judges of SWF. This is a powerful dance it has the skill, techniques, but most important the raw emotions that dancing can bring out. like Monika said dancing is always honest. and this is honestly the best dance crew I love (plus the other crew of swf) but prowdmon just brings out the emotion of themself and their viewer.

This is call a contemporary dance, and it has been well known in America generally in western country for a long time, and i salute to Monika and prowdman ofc, she bring and introduce this genre dance to Korea audience. In contemporary dance, it's full of message and art. Dancers can express their emotions thru their dance. As you all can see from this performance, Monika telling a story as it's about shining and arise like the sun.. from all the struggle. And I'm glad these dancers been given the opportunity to be shine and recognition on stage and commercial as well. Thanks to the swf show👏🏼 👏🏼
Every time i see contemporary dance it looks so deep to me. But im not an expert, so sometimes i’m just left confused, even tho i do try to appreciate and understand the genre. i dunno the difficult things but when i see this performance, it’s just so beautiful 🥺

@@youaremid8390 Because she isn't introducing contemporary dance to Korea, that genre of dance is already well known and there are multiple dance academies in South Korea where you can find well known contemporary dance teachers, professors, and student dancers themselves :)
There have been contemporary dance majors in Korea for many years already. Don't think it's purely 'murican.

I found myself breathless...I suspect that the audience did too, given their slack-jawed and smiling expressions. Prowdmon, the platinum standard. I'm loving all of the well-deserved attention that SWF is getting. All of Prowdmon are incredible but to me, Lip J is enchantingly mesmerising. Monika with the excellence as usual. I was left with goosebumps and an immediate desire to watch it over and over again.
