Shy Man one of the best things in the game is that when you melee them they would go flying into a ragdoll not like a dying animation like the recent cods
Octavio Garcia especially in the scene where you rescue Major Ingram and Marcel runs upstairs and you just see the German soldiers body come flying down the stairs. Or in the mission “Hostage” when you crash into the fountain and the driver of the jeep goes flying out 😂

Sgt Dixon was a very good squad leader but tragic he was killed in the final mission of the game he was a good hero of war all the way wasn’t he right guys

@user We never knew which gun he had in his hand when he was running to the shed, so its a fair guess that he had a Springfield. Not to mention, the Springfield probably got trapped in the rubble from the blast and Nichols most likely picked up a dead American's Garand before the flare scene.

The destroyed city environments in this game are amazing. They're even better than _World at War's_ buildings. I wish we had set designs like this in modern games.
in case anyone is wondering, this is a prime example of how to screw up an assault, namely, running into your own artillery, It's likely that the allies exploited a hole in the nazi defense but this is exactly what happened back in the civil war. Battle of the crater, they blasted a hole and ran into the wrong crater and got slaughtered. Moral: Wait for the artillery to finish, bring up armor, THEN you can rush in with your guys. to my knowledge, the officer is freaking out, calling for backup because they are getting the shit shelled out of them, then he tells the other soldier to find cover or report back to allied lines. I'm not a native german speaker but this is as close as I can understand from his body language and panicked behavior. I'm an english speaker only, I will post a translation soon.

This mission, the tank mission, the first Canadian mission and the last mission are my fav.
this game was so good and so versatile, you played as Americans, Canadians, Poles, French resistance, Scottish, I mean they had everybody.
Except the UK, Australia and New Zealand apparently.
