In my 30+ years living in Canada, the rule of thumb is always the brighter the day during the winter the colder it is. When it snows, it gets warmer bc it insulates the area from the cold artic winds.
Been in Calgary since 2010 and be prepared for 7-10 days/year when temperatures plunge -20 to -40 C. It happens on the month of January or February. Super lamig for a week or so lang, but we get less snow compared to other provinces. Just take the necessary precautions and you'll be good.

Hello po! There’s a leggings with fuzzy fur inside that you can buy po, which is good for that kind of weather. Also the ski mask there’s a heated that you can get also. I’ve experienced that before and even a -57 in Winnipeg MB. Just bundled up and kaya yan as long as prepared ka po! Ingat po🙏

Challenge mo na suungin ang ganyan kalamig na temperature and when you did you will get used to the weather basta wear the right clothings. Ganyan din ako 25 years ago nung bago pa ako sa Canada at nasubukan ko na rin mag lakad during snow storm blizzard at Kailangan pumasok sa work ganun din weather pag uwi. Kaya mo yan Emma magiging problema lang kapag delay ang Bus or train. This morning nag ka problema daw Ctrain Blue and Red line sa Downtown Calgary. Iba ang lamig sa freezer ng ref mo kesa sa real temperature sa labas ng bahay lalo na kapag malakas ang hangin. Kaya mo yan Ms Emma❤.

My first job in Canada was outdoors in the late 70s and early 80s, and I survived. The weather then is worse than today due to global warming. It's better walang insekto, lamok and allergies, masarap matulog at kumain, bale wala yan at masasanay din kayo. Just bundle up properly.😅😅

Dito sa area namin bihira po yung may naglalakad kasi halos lahat siguro may sariling sasakyan at madalas empty yung busses kaya bihira lng po ang public transport dito sa area namin at limited time lng po. Meron po yatang medyas or winter socks na baka available po dyan sa inyo, bili ka po para di po maginaw yung toes mo po. Meron din pong pocket warmers pwede pong ilagay sa pockets ng pants or sa cargo pants para warm po yung thighs and legs po
Ang lamig kaya yan kasi depende sa tao kung paano nya I kontra Yong lamig...ang problema ay kung darating ang bus or train ng tama sa oras na expected...kasi Jan tayo nag bababad sa hintay....at Jan papasok ang lamig...kaya yan ah....After 2 yrs basic na lng yan...😅

Sa Toronto at ibang parts ng Canada pag may extreme warning automatically suspended ang klasr at trabaho. Sa Calgary kahit may extreme cold warning ay tuloy ang trabaho at klase.
