And it had a great villian in Sadashiv, his Maharani character playing to the gallery. Predictably, the Indian audience ended up appreciating the music and the villian. Never expected them ti either appreciate the aesthetics of realistic action nor the complexity of Dutt's character.
Everyone talks about Amrish Puri or Gulshan grover for villianous Roles...but this movie wouldn't been a mega hit without breathtaking acting by Sadashiv ji as Maharani...RIP
