Atroce can't be understimated as he has the powerfull Pulse Strike and he uses Power Up when he wants. Even though that, a high hard DEF equipment and Parryng must be enough to stop him and face him melee ranged with good results.
The strategy is so simple and self-explanatory.
Obligatory equipment:
-Bathory carded armor.
-Ring of Resonance x2 (if possible).
