- My incredible Narrowboat Life. Now three years as a continuous cruiser, liveaboard, I'm sharing some of my most beautiful experiences along the canal. Watch Sunrises, sunsets, wildlife, the force's and beauty of mother nature. Heavy snow, fifty foot icicles, lightning and thunder storm. Take a look at my floating garden too! And of course the beauty of cruising and visiting the elsan.
The Journey started here... I once lived in the fast lane of life, happily married of 26 years, with two children. That chapter was suddenly shattered by the sudden loss of my wife to cancer, which led me in to depression and homelessness. Waking up in hospital, after attempting to take my own life, with just a suitcase, kayak and bicycle and no money, I've managed to rise up out of the darkness and find happiness and continue my next chapter.
I'm a self taught film maker, and creating these vlogs, it gives me something to do, share my personal experiences as I continue my journey cruising and living life on the canal. Please do consider supporting my channel below... Thank you Dave

So . . . I've been watching Narrowboat videos for about the last three years and then . . . I stumble onto this one. I have to say, in all honesty, this is by leaps and bounds the very best Narrowboat video I've watched to date, and I've viewed hundreds of them, by all the names I'm sure you would recognize. You Sir, have reached the pinnacle of the most exceptional video photography, music accompaniment, and editing. I'm watching this video on one of the most stressful days of my life, our Nation is falling apart here in the U.S. this day of January 6th, and then I view this masterpiece of work which seemed to take all the tension away. I dream of a day soon in the future, when I too may be able to reside in England for up to six months of the year aboard a narrowboat. I cannot thank you enough for this body of work, for your music, for your photography, and for your enjoyable narration. This is well beyond anything the BBC could produce, yes it really is that good. I wish you all of God's many blessings from America my friend, and may your 2021 be filled with joy, happiness and excellent health.

Hi! I am in the south of Brazil. An English friend sent me this video today for me to watch. He also has a boat. I was amazed by the exuberance of nature on the canal. Everything is very colorful, beautiful! The flowers, the water, the ducks, the birds, the one removing the threads to weave his nest, I was enchanted. The snow is very beautiful, showing the frozen waterfall. The silence when the boat is singing the waters with music, everything I was delighted!

I live next to a river, near the sea in South Africa and I paddle in my old canoe and swim all alone in the river which is tidal. I am inspired by you to learn how to have my own video channel.
