My BMW I3 has never had the Check Engine light on. It doesn't have one, doesn't need one, it just keeps going year after year without demanding anything.
I tell you y. Coz these cars run very poor on American gas. They are made to run on 98 octane. A merican guy who was living in Germany. Moved back to usa imported the car m3. 2022 first time refill in usa with 91 octane gas and engine light turned on immediately. They need at least the 93 octane american gas. European regular cars will run very bad if u put 87 octane gas
Locked-up engines are the least worry of a flood car. Since about 1990, there are about 1.7 MILES of electrical wiring in cars, FOUR "computers" and 160,000 connectors (according to Ford for an F-150 with base level options). I'm ex-Air Farce electronics T-8. ONE "bad connection" will ground a Phantom IID. Today's cars are WORSE. Har' in Okra-Homer you can't "salvage" a flood car and put it back on the road thank God. BTW, wanna "Hypertruck " cheap? The east Tussa salvage has a dead Tesla that was recovered from curb-deep (5 inch) water with $74,000 of DAMAGE.
When inspecting. a flooded vehicle. Always check the engine oil for water first. Do an under hood inspection . Checking the🧐 seats whether they move up or down it’s not logical. Overlooking the big picture
I watch the sales as well, and I’m shocked this year how many Run/drives are carrying COD’s this time around ?? It seems to be a WAY higher ratio than last go around.
I watch them to people just throw money around like it's nothing salt flood cars is big no I built wrecks for years i would part all those cars out there is plenty sales in us to buy cars
@ hey Sherlock, do you still have to get the card to their garage first? Duh just so you understand after they figure out what it needs to accomplish that.good
@ I didn’t ask a dumb question you took it as a dumb question. Think about it if you’re interested in a vehicle one of the things you asked for first is how many miles how much is going to burn in my hole in my pocket if it also leaves anything elsethen you might need to do when you get a vehicle to repair OK Sherlock
its a BMW, the check engine light default potion is on. There are less than 10 BMW at any time in North America without a check engine line lit up.
I remember I sold my old bmw and the check engine came on for the new owner in the first couple days of him owning it lol

Had 50 codes on x5 all at once.
Only time will tell if this was a great deal but it will make great content to see if you can unlock that motor. Great vid.
Even w/o a key, get a wrench on the crank & turn it.

This one is alright for the money even if the engine is seized . Take care Brothers. 👍👍
Good job Mike and Ivan
