If your NOT A CAR DEALER but instead, a private seller.. you should fill out the top and submit to your local tax collector, protects you the seller and releases you of any liability from the purchaser, such as if the purchaser doesn't register or insure the vehicle and instead, just slaps a plate on and drive ... Wow this have been helpful I sold my trailer home to a buyer and she didn't have any money but she sign her name on my title now I have to get another does that mean I have to get another copy if so how do I go by doing that?
Sir... There are 2 Ways You can do this... 1st...get an Affidavit of Corrections from Your DMV... 2nd...apply for a new title at Your DMV... Hope this Help...
Thank you for the video,,heres my question,,,,,I buy a motorcycle with the intention of selling it the next day, I go to the owners house hand them the money and they sign the title over,,,,The next day I want to sell it,,,,Do I have to go to the DMV and get the title in my name, THEN sign it over to the person I am going to sell it to, or do I leave the title blank when I purchase it,,,,I guess is there a way to keep it simple when I purchase a moto that I dont have to go to the DMV to get the title in my name, that I can just hand the person the tite that I got from my purchaser....TY
Hello Friend..! Open Title...if You do Not register the motorcycle, that is called an open title sell...[which is considered illegal] DMV...please check Your dmv to see if They will give You the okay to sell as an open title. Thanks..!

What if the seller brought the vehicle from the original owner and second owner didn’t transfer the title into his name? How do you obtain a new title in your name? Or would you not bother buying the vehicle?
@@seymour3 I don’t have picture of the title. I will let the seller know he has to transfer title into his name and obtain a paper title or electronic title so I can legally obtain a title, registration and tag for vehicle. I don’t think I want to go through the entire process of getting a bonded title.
