I just have to tell you... Honestly, I love Layton Brothers Mystery Room SO MUCH even though my parents won't let me buy it- yet -that I just watched almost your entire walkthrough, except for the free cases, for the second time. I watched it first probably last year or about 2 years ago, but these past few days, I've been watching it again since I love it so much. Before, I didn't get to hear your commentary, but now, I love it! It's very amusing, and I enjoy listening to your impersonations of the characters. Sometimes I get a little shaken watching your walkthroughs because they make me... I don't know, just makes me feel a little afraid. But hearing your commentary makes me feel like there's someone there with me while I watch, so I don't feel as 'scared.' I hope they really do come out with another game. It was such an amazing game, with music, evidence, characters, and all. I eagerly await the next game. Also, have you played Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Dual Destinies? I've watched them on TH-cam as well, and they are amazing. Really, it reminds me a lot of LBMR, and there are a lot of fantastic cases. Athena Cykes is the new character there, and like LBMR, there's a whole plot with Dual Destinies that's revealed in the last case!

I don't know who the last piece was for, but its kinda ironic that on the table in the room with Diane's body, there was one of the last 2 pieces. It was meant for Al, but it ended up being for her instead. Although I can say with somewhat confidence It would have probably been saved in case one of the people involved in the Forbodium castle incident 4 years ago (aka Hilda or the Commissioner) found out something they shouldn't have/discovered Justin's involvement.
What? I'm actually pretty shocked lucy didn't realize that the twisted prof was the original prof. After all, in every dialogue that brings up the past, only potty prof appears and actually talks about it. But i have to admit i never thought calm prof was a fake either. I was about to say normal prof, but i realized the crazed one is the normal one XD somehow i wished someone would brainwash me like that lol... since i act like calm prof but have the thoughts of potty prof. But the mix of both of them is definetly the best, i'd say And i have to admit prof does look pretty good in that blue coat omo; he should wear it more often. Now can i just say i love lucy here XD she totally shut em all up! *sigh* i'm pretty sad it's over though. I'm satisfied with how they end it, but they should gave us more cases! A sequel, maybe? That aside, i love this game very much. I wish my mom would let me buy the full cases! Fortunately i deducted 4 out of 7 cases you posted correctly XD Thank you for the pleasant walktrough! I am probably not the first to notice but they did hint at Potty Prof being the original personality. When Lucy asks if Al and Hilda were always bickering like that he said yes. Also, in the picture showing Al aiming his gun at Peacemaker, you could see that grin on his face.

Actually I'm not sure if there is a prequel. I mean probably in Japan but outside of it? It's always the question if the targeted group is big enough, and like AAI2 they might not translate it :( Oh and I know who the Commissioner actually is. If you don't know it I won't spoil you

I also wonder if the next game will play off of the Lucy-Al thing that a couple characters referenced; it would be amusing if professor layton made some such comment in the next game, because well definitely be seeing him.

chaoswalking I wonder actually . . . The commissioner says "It'll be like old times, Hershel," and to be honest, Barton and Hershel rarely talked or interacted. But it can't be Luke either, since that would put Hershel in around his 90's, probably too old for any more detective work. Sadly, we don't know any other boy characters that hung around Layton and were that short, so I can't be sure who it is.
