I've had the 19 WE, 22WE and now have the 23WE. The 23 is truly an amazing bike! The 19 & 22 for me just like they said, knifed quickly in the corners. After owning an 02 CR250R and still owning an 07 CRF450R. It was hard to adjust to such a fast turning/knifing bike. The 23WE is so much better it's amazing! I had head shake on my 02CR250R but haven't had that on my 07 or the 23WE. I grew up riding Suzuki's, Maaco's, Kawi's and Honda's and recently rode a friends KTM, but I have become a die hard Honda bike owner for the last 20+ years. For me they are the best! "Ride Red!"
I've had my 23 Honda CRF450WE since January. The suspension and engine is great! The way Honda setup the WE is a big improvement. The bike turns great and does not knife in turns. I have rode mud to dry tracks with a smile. I really like the wide power that revs out smooth without any flat spots. The engine torque allows me to use a higher gear in turns. Great bike! RideRed...
@@NickW90 The WE has returned to basically the std bike settings. The first GEN WE had a truly different fork internals, coatings and settings (much stiffer than std bike). Other than the coatings - it's now in line with the std bike. To me - this is an "update" to the WE but a departure from what the WE represented. A pro level race bike. It's now a vet rider's wet dream
Perfect platform for a CR500 Two Stroke motor. Maybe I'll buy one then sell the 450 4puke motor wirh all the electronics. So I can then send the roller to Aj Waggoner at Built500 " Service Honda".. To install my CR500 motor.
Such a fun bike to ride!
Nice to see you in this video. What happened with the 450 Shootout?
Yo wassup
Good job describing the exhaust boys!

Sweet review. I like Buttery on the test crew, he did a great job.

Awesome, thanks Pat & Conner..

Have a couple of rides on my new '23 CRF450 Works Edition and like Buttery and Pat said the suspension and engine updates are noticeable improvements.
