This is one of those "If Goku was born with Friezas power" type topics, and I think Frieza would have recognized Goku as the same as himself, where they were both born in there ultimate forms, thus, I believe that Goku should have eventually learned how to "suppress" his powers by turning back into a normal Saiyan after witnessing his own species in their base forms. That and what he should have learned from Kami if he ever met him I honestly don't remember, I'm watching this in segments

Except this is a PERMANENT form. They were BORN as super saiyan 4. It is his base. I do agree with the suppressing part though, but not him being able to turn into a normal saiyan.
Frieza didn't learn to suppress his power because he saw other members of his own species, he did it because he was afraid he would accidentally destroy everyone and everything around him due to the massive power he tossed around casually. Frieza wasn't born in his "ultimate form" he was born in his natural and base form.

I love how Goku not being able to learn God Ki outright keeps the importance of the "base" Super Saiyan transformations, rather than have everyone forget about SSJ 3 and further in favor of god-stuff. It feels much more organic here - Vegeta and Raditz are behind Goku so taking the god-boost is an excellent choice, while Goku learns a path of his own. Him getting to SSJ5 is not cool just because SSJ5 (which is awesome in itself), but because only *he* will get that transformation, a true pinnacle.
SSJ5 is a fanform. I think you mean ssj4 limit breaker.

Fun fact: ssj4 allows the user to adapt to their opponents entirely, technique, moves, fighting style, and abilities. Kinda like broly this was shown in the fight with syn shenron and eis shenron. Depending on which grade of ssj4 the form allows to user to have some form of awareness, which their instinct kicks in which their body tells them whether they need to dodge an attack. So technically speaking have a fraction of broly’s adaptability, and omen Ui in a sense.
Gt Goku stated “it’s like my body is moving on it’s own”.
And to put icing on the cakes 🎂 their senses are heightened dramatically making not even have to rely on sensing ki to find the location of their opponents. Once he unlocked grade 3 in ssj4 in the shadow dragon saga
Facts: Actually the ssj4 form is 4million in terms of power/ multiplier.
The concept of ssj and ozaruu mixing is an understatement.
Ssj is actually used as an engine for the ozaruu which empowers the ozaruu to dramatical heights. It does this by amplifying the amount of wavelength with in the ozaruu. Also depends on which grade of ssj you have but theoretically speaking grade 4 is use for this example. In return ozaruu starts going berserk which do to the amount rage boosts its getting from ozaruu allows ssj to increase in power/ multiplier. In which the cycle continues on and on until the user usually regains consciousness and push the “engine to its limits”.
If not the their power will constantly increase to unstable heights until they destroys themselves in process.
Hence the ssj profecy told by Vegeta in the namek saga, we were shown that the person went ozaruu with ssj and destroyed himself and the planet.
So to simplify it golden ozaruu starting point is 500x-5,000x depending on the grade of ssj
The end point of golden ozaruu when the user regains consciousness and has push the engine to it limits, will have a multiplier of 400,000x
Now I’ll have to tell the you about ssj4 grades 1-4
Grade 1 ssj4 (4,000,000x) their user is put into their prime meaning that they are at peak performance and physique.
The zenkais are at a exponential rate, and literally has the raw strength of the ozaruu condense to humanoid form.
Grade 2 full power ssj4 (8,000,000) they get red outline around their body showing that they are in full power mode and literally unlocks 50% of the remainder of the forms power.
Grade 3 is ultra full power ssj4 (8,000,000x) the multiplier remains the same but the primal power is reverted back to their base form meaning just like god ki the 8,000,000x is now applied to their base.
As mentioned in the fun fact is now applied to their base form and they have ikari now meaning they don’t need to turn into a giant monkey due to them unlocking grade 3 ssj4.
Their sense are now heightened to a exponential degree. Meaning that they don’t have to sense ki to find their opponent they can just sense them from the other 5 senses instead to pinpoint where they are.
He unlock this form by using the remainder ssjs to give him his energy to by pass the grade system just like how he did with the battle of great ape baby vegeta.
Now it time for grade 4 which is theoretical but is probably gogeta ssj4 form with red hair. Which I called ascended ssj4 where their hair change to red just like their fur to (16,000,000x and continues to increase since it continuously breaks the users limits) understand that this form is capable of making a power aura that can defend the users from any attacks. As shown when fighting omega shenron. Their was literally no bounds when it came to that form for gogeta.

I'm almost certain that the SSJ multiplier is pretty accurate. Grade two increases raw strength by 10X, that more likely just adds to the multiplier but it only affects raw strength. Masters SSJ would be as powerful as grade 2 but stamina would be no issue. If SSJ grade two were 500X then it would've obliterated cell the moment Vegeta made contact.

I liked that Vegeta became more tactical in this series with learning all of the Yardrat techniques. Plus, Goku developed more as a character because of Vegeta, which was pretty cool. 👍 Also, oh boy, I never thought I would see SSJ5 in a series of yours, but then again, I said the same thing with Omni-SSJ White Form. 😆 Raditz is just best uncle for this series enough said, and happy that he has his own path of power like Goku & Vegeta does. 👍 I'm glad Gohan's path stayed the same roughly. A missed opportunity thought with Gohan possible getting SSJ4 transformation since his tail was never cut off, but it's fine, plus Beast Gohan with a Sliver Tail sounds pretty cool. 👍My favorite part was Grandpa Gohan, not dying because he got to be with Goku on his journey from Early Dragon Ball to him fighting with Goku, his new family (Gohan & Goten), and friends & students during the TOP. Finally, you definitely need to do more of these full remakes for your older series. Anyways overall another really good Full-Story, and looking forward to the next one soon.

I feel that they should make the super saiyan 4 concept actually cannon (call it something different of course.)the ultimate god form of a saiyan, goku white fur for UI and Vegeta gets purple fur as god of destruction. And create a are where goku becomes a Kai counter part to vegeta causing them to always work together if ever threatened.
If cannon could name it based on oozaru kinda like. Gohan's beast form something like oozaru 2. since oozaru is cannon and golden oozaru isn't. so it would be oozarus second form and not the third. Instead of naming it super Saiyan 4

Alright so, this is a great series, but I see something that got overlooked. Something that everyone's done when creating this what if: S Cells. Yes, Gohan wouldn't have SSJ4, BUT it should be pretty clear that Goku's S Cell count would be much higher than in canon. Gohan should have just as little or less difficulty than Goten in canon in regards to becoming a SSJ. Due to how this story went down, I still don't think he'd unlock it before Raditz or Vegeta, but upon the early training, SSJ being easy to him should be noted.

This is a really interesting story and despite everything I was surprised that Bulma wasn't captivated by Goku wild yet badass SSJ4 looks.
Radiz probably planned to use the pod that was used to send Goku to earth. Wouldn't the Saiyans assume that kakarot was a super Saiyan when he was born in that form. Especially Prince Vegeta.

Would be interesting if they explained Kakarot as a Saiyan who was a mutant, a mutated saiyan who was born with the Oozaru form/strength in base, and so couldn't transform into a Great Ape later in life.
(Kinda like how Broly could utilize Oozaru power in base, and so didn't need to transform. Kinda wish Paragus didn't cut his tail off but, we all know we can't have any saiyans with tails to animate for too long, eh? 😮💨)

This was really fun to watch. I unfortunately have not finished Dragon Ball Super or have watched the Super Hero Movie. Funimation had some glitch and I only got to the beginning of the second tournament. And I just never got back to watching the rest. But this was fun none the less without the context of what actually happened. I am one of those weirdos though that actually enjoyed the story of Dragon Ball GT. And the transformation into Super Saiyan 4 still is my favorite.

I'd hate to see how much ssj4 kid gohan's appetite would be, especially with a power level. Goku's power level was a 2 when he was born, now combine x40'000 in top of THAT, which is basically 80'000. ssj4 kid Goku pretty much solos all of the db/and some of Z till the Freiza Saga... that's if he didn't train.
I think the super saiyan grade transformations refer to an addition multiplier so for example at 2:55, ssj1 is a 50x multiplier and then grades 2 and 3 add onto that, when you say that grade 3 is a 10x multiplier I personally think that it’s an addition to the ssj1 form meaning 60x base but it’s sacrifices speed so grade 4 is just the normal 50x with mastered stamina control because if it were the case to be a 10x multiplier to the ssj1 form then I don’t really see the point in the ssj2 and ssj3 forms and maybe even the ssj4 form when perhaps the grades could be mastered how the grade 4 ssj1 form was. (I’ve replied continuing my explanation)
to put it simply let’s say goku starts off at a power level of 1 and now ssj1 adds 50x so now it’s a power level of 50 and then grade 3 ssj1 is an additional 10x, I’d say that would be a power level of 60 and then ssj2 would be a power level of 100 since it’s 2x ssj1 and ssj3 is 4x ssj2 therefore it would be a power level of 400 and then ssj4 is just up to speculation really but many say it’s a 10x to ssj3 so therefore goku would have a power level of 4000 as a ssj4 (it’s the only way I can really make sense of the grades of ssj1 and the other forms without illogical buffs and instead a constant growth throughout the series)

Thinking about how Bardock sends off goku all the time made me think of an interesting what if
“What if Bardock was a coward” in this what if Bardock and Gine would’ve stolen 3 ships and in a cowardly move Bardock sent goku to raditz to distract frieza while he and Gine escaped so he and Gine would be on earth while goku would go to his brother and tell the saiyans what happened, goku being enraged would train hard every day waiting for the day he can get revenge on his parents, on the other hand Bardock and Gine would go through a struggle in their relationship since Bardock did such a terrible thing but over the course of dragon ball Bardock would become more mature and they would make up
A timeline where Yamcha is more relevant and Raditz survives? Yes please! ^.^

I really like ssj 5. It is in the same tier of power as MUI, UE, Beast,and Legendary Full Power SSJ. It may even be considerably and significantly stronger than all these forms.
grade 4 ssj is a 50x multiplier, the reason its so strong is because the method of training and the extreme difficulty in training while in ssj, that is the widely accepted point

I think ssj4 has a multiplier of 3,200, here's the explanation Ssj is 50x2=100x which is the multiplier of super saiyan 2 then times four which is 2+2 so do 4+4 you get 8, 8x400= 3,200
This story would be damn short King Vegeta would've order the Kill order immediately. But dang you let out a good part saying that him be born as a SSJ4 scared the hell out of Broly and made all the baby saiyans in the incubators to cry and shit.

Hmmm… Super Saiyan 5 was a Goated move, and probably appropriate too…
Maybe you could’ve done something like Goku attaining a red haired version of his ss4 prior to limit breaker ss4 ( the Gogeta ss4 if you will even keeping the statements about it.), and then limit breaker ss4 being a upgrade to that form and finally ss5 being the next level from that…
And beast Gohan with tail makes beast look more like beast then initially…
Vegeta and Raditz paths are completely justified as they were behind severely in power…
And I find it odd, that elder Kai didn’t even meet Goku as he would’ve known about super Saiyan 4 as he’s the one to call it that as he recongise it in gt but hey it was a cool story overall

This is how the story goes. Kakarot is born with a PL of 80,000 ( x40,000 being the agreed fan estimate for SSJ4 multiplied by 2 for Kakarot’s stated PL as a baby.) would be seen as a threat even more then Broly was and would be considered by King Vegeta as a threat to get rid of as soon as possible, but that would not matter as Kakarot would die on Vegeta, Bardock wouldn’t be able to sneak him out of the Elite Incubation Chamber and get a pod at the same time and Frieza would blow up the planet
