We have a similar place where I live in the USA. It is call SCRAP Creative Reuse Center. No membership required. Very low prices and special discounts for teachers. I make donations as I try and declutter my fabric and craft supplies.

omg this is amazing, wish we had something like up north, we have bst fabrics but they charge the same as every fabric store = by the meter .... hey tree do ya know if people can join online and pick fabrics to be sent ?
No online but I think you do have one Up North. Search online...I think they said one was in Yorkshire.
There’s play and recycle in Derby, I know pre covid they used to do meet ups and swap stock with other centres around the country.
