There is a very big difference between Luo voters and ODM supporters. Majority of ODM supporters are not Luos, Luos only constitute 30% of ODM. Luhyas, Kisiis, Coastal people, Maasais, Turkanas etc will not vote Ruto in 2027 just because Raila has succeeded in AUC or not. Only Luos will vote for Ruto because Raila went to AUC, the rest of ODM supporters will make their minds on who to vote without caring about AUC outcomes.
Why do analysis always talk as though GenZs were not there in 2022, and didn't vote? And talking of Kalonzo, his biggest weakness is that he's not a fighter; he always expects the presidency to be given to him on a silver platter.
Kalonzo is a good man but if Rigathi and his murima people are giving him more than double the votes and funding all his campaign his bid will be seen as a proxy candidate for mount kenya and he will just be there to be seen. It is Rigathi who will be running his government since they contributed everything. Today in Kenya many people are fed up with murima leaders just the thought of a government run by Rigathi will make people vote ruto in spite of his shortcomings. The contest will not be about ruto or kalonzo but rather settling political scores. On your subject raila can't work with Rigathi and uhuru also can't work with Rigathi therefore working with kalonzo who is embracing him would be difficult.
