Don't want to oversimplify, but Corey and Pat are similar characters, so it would be better to have one of them on each shows. But both on the show would be good lol.
Considering how Cole & Corey (shout out to his heel selling when Pat arrived) had planned for the 2-man booth it shows how professional and good you three are. It felt like you'd all been prepping together all day. ❤️🤘

Ehh…Corey is pretty much a heel in real life sometimes. I wasn’t surprised he would be butthurt about Pat’s return.

Pat is refreshing on wrestling broadcasts because he doesn't do the babyface or heel role -- he just does the fan role which is a lot more relatable. He cheers for who he likes. Plus, characters flip flop so often, that it's nice to have at least one voice that stays a fan even when they're a heel.
I miss how pat calls Brock the alpha male of our species. it’s as if he learned from Taz, wellp, here come the pain!

Corey Graves is our edgy modern-day version of Michael Cole and you have Pat McAfee who's one of us he's a wrestling fan at heart and you can hear it in his voice whenever he's commentating.

It's crazy to see Cole, who everyone hated 10 years ago, be this head figure to everyone now.
Loved him with Taz back in the day, but Pat has really reinvigorated Cole and it is great to see. He genuinely looks happy and is enjoying himself again.
We only hated him cos he mixed two bad traits - always listening to Vince, and constantly mixing up move names. He's fixed both. McAfee ain't wrong when he calls him the GOAT. What other performer, let alone announcer, actually has the balls to fix their criticised problems?
Cole is literally going to go down as THE best commentator (besides Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler)

Just glad to see Cole behind the scenes talk more, we barely know how he feels in a lot of shows
The pop for his catchphrase in the beginning of the entrance theme was fantastic. You could see a bunch of people stand up and cheer just for that part, knowing it was McAfee.
I was so hyped when Pat came out and joined commentary. I love his commentary, especially because he's a fan and just adds that fandom to the shows he calls.
The royal rumble was the best commentary for a show I've heard since the Attitude Era. Pat, Corey, and Cole absolutely killed it, and I hope they keep doing it.
Pat said he haven't kept up with wwe since he is busy but did see bits and pieces. It's better not to knowing than knowing beforehand which means his reactions are real like the bray wyatt winning against la knight and cole saying welcome back pat
Haven't watched WWE in years but I recently got into Pat's show here. Guess I'm gonna watch the Rumble to see Pat on commentary. Also so funny seeing Michael Cole. Now I feel old as hell

I had never heard of you before you showed up in WWE and I have to say you are one of the most welcome additions to the company. you make the show so much more enjoyable and it was amazing to have you back Saturday!!
I actually first remember Pat from Madden, I knew he was the Colts punter and he was always one of the highest rated players and I was randomly watching a Smackdown where he filled in for commentary and I'm just like "wait hold up, is that THAT Pat McAfee?"
He was in NXT during the balck and gold days he had a fued with Adam Cole and had a Wargames match with the UE as well so he's been around WWE for a little while now
That was AWESOME! Corey Graves with the line of the year, "I rather have a root canal than be here" and the other one is "My year is over"!
Think this was one of the loudest pops of the night. The chemistry on commentary that night was just incredible 👍
I really enjoy Michael Cole on this show. Seeing/listening to him as just a regular dude is cool.
McAfee & Graves need to have something at Mania
They'd have to be really careful.. the reason Graves doesn't wrestle is because he kept getting concussions. Not sure if he wants to risk it.

That return was HUGE for us as viewers too. It's so fun for us when something that's a genuine surprise to on screen talent happens.

As a massive WWE fan you can tell Pat is genuinely a fan when he is on commentary it's truly awesome seeing him do that.
I stopped watching Friday Night Smackdown when Pat left to do game day and haven’t watched any episodes, so when I listened to the show today and saw that he was at the royal rumble I watched it this evening with my kids. Pat’s hilarious comments make it so much more entertaining to watch. I’m so glad he’s back

I didnt actually know of Pat before he joined WWE and I wasn't a fan of his commentary initially but man did he win me over, I'm so so happy he's back, his energy is so infectious, I've genuinely missed him.

I was buzzed to see Pat back. He used to make Smackdown so funny with Cole. Felt like the old days a bit with the commentators making those moments even better. Hopefully after a few years he's back for a longer stay 👌🏻
Pat really helped cole to revitalized his passion as a wwe commentator! Think when Tazz left or during his heel run I guess he did lost a bit of passion until pat came in, he really helped him to rediscover his passion and u think cold can hang on a couple more years

Pats return to the rumble was such a surprise to me, since i knew he was gonna come back at some point after college football, but didnt know when. So i initially was holding out hope that he was gonna come back at the rumble, but wasnt expecting it and then he actually came back and i was super surprised. Welcome back Pat!

True story, I worked for a cable company 10yrs ago and had a lady call in to review her account. She kept on mentioning that she needed to keep USA network. She then said she was Michael Cole's Aunt, she was calling him by his real name and she said she never misses an episode of Raw to see her nephew..
