Really like your campsite principles. You point out all the small things (like with the fire and surrounding brush) and they are usually the things that can become really issues, certainly helps me out heaps, really enjoyed this one daz and look forward to part 2 atb - josh.
Toyota trucks are the cream of the crop, they're so reliable and hold their value fantastically. Over where I am it's just a sea of Dodge, Chevy and Ford trucks. People splurging 60-70K on a brand new pavement princess every year to commute to their office job and back. (Not hating on anyone owning those trucks who actually utilize them)
I'm in contact with a few people who have items such as military issue smocks etc. pass through there hands pretty often, military surplus shop owners, friends in and out of the army due to the fact my father was in the forces, so if anyone needs a hand finding anything I'm sure I could help you sort something out.

I have a GAMO pellet rifle in .177. Using the heavier pellets makes it have the same foot pounds of energy of a .22 rimfire at less that 150 feet or so. Plus it has the same noise report of breaking a dried stick the size of your index finger. I have been reducing the rabbit population in my back yard with great success. I am letting the squirrel live because they amuse me :) Rabbits destroy my fruit trees. The rifle will reliably produce small critter protein in the cook pot if required.

Thanks. Oh and I too am old school and just can't seem to stop carrying my zippo. Something I do now, is I carry an MRE Tabasco bottle filled with lighter fluid, so even if it dries out, I still have some fluid. I love those little bottles to carry small amounts of different fluid, Break Free, bug juice, olive oil, and more. I have even filled them with lamp oil and stuck a thick candle wick down inside and put the cap on for an emergency candle that lasts about an hour. I use a piece of tin foil with a tiny hole in it and pull a small amount of the wick through the hole to regulate flame height. Keep up the great work.

Yeah definitely not gonna be the same with out the BOV Darren. I remember you showing me it when you had it at your work getting some of the modifications done. It's come a long way since then! Who ever gets it will be getting an awesome vehicle for sure. I definitely understand what you mean by keeping a lower profile nowadays. To many crazies out there.
I'll be planning another trip your way maybe sometime next fall. Plan on a weekend get together and another trip to the"depot" lol. Talk at ya soon Darren.

I'm glad you like the hot sauce Darren, but the real credit has to go to Jedi - I saw it on his IG feed. That Italian camo has a better colour balance and disruption than both MTP and DPM for English woodland, but as you say.... camo is site-specific

Beautiful fallkniven, have my eye on a F1 pro 10 for my chest rig. Hard to pull the trigger due to the price but I hear they're worth every penny. Would love that little u2 folder for my EDC knife. Currently run a Becker BK2 and a CRKT Squid for my EDC folder. The Becker is a fantastic workhorse however the weight isn't ideal for my setup. Tossing and turning between a Mora Garberg or splurge on the F1 pro 10.

Hi Funky, New fan here. Starting to get into prepping myself with the basics first. I have a section 1 license and Section 2. Just wondering, you mention that you have section 5 firearms available to you when the need arises?? Are you a deer stalker? I've been looking at getting into it myself to justify a AICS in 300 WinMag. Anyhow out of interest what do you have on your section 5 and how did you justify it to the home office?

Just to satisfy my curiosity, can any of you gents across the pond in the UK explain what section 5 firearms are? I did google that shit, but I felt like I was a teenager again, trying to figure out the National Firearms Act. I'm sure it's straight forward(ish), but it seems like the way firearms are defined is sort of vague and arbitrary (which is the same way it is here).

Funky, i really enjoy watching your productions and some of your ideas and way of thinking have inspired me. But this video is all a bit too much, is the rifle a deterrent or for your protection ? In my opinion its totally not needed and you seem to carry spares for spares, when does the point come when you are carrying too much ? i have my own theory on this based around a bit of research i did. This is my opinion, i dont mean this in a unfriendly way and i will not stop watching and learning from your adventures, id just like to hear your thoughts on it. Maybe you'll reply to me this time too !!!!

The term donkeys years comes from donkeys being slow moving an therefore a donkeys year takes a lot longer than a standard year

funkyprepper its just that you said that the land did not allow for you to carry a section 5 firearms as if you had one that you shoot on land. Do you have any form of firearms certificate.
***** Civvies can own section 5, its just a pain in the hole to get the licence ( I know a professional stalker who has one )
