I can really tell that he wasn't cut for the kpop Idol image from the get go, he's very independent and stubborn about what he likes and wants to make. But wow, his whole image now is who he really is, nothing filtered and polished for the fans, this style is his own, his music is his own. So different from the Kris he had to portray back in the kpop industry. It scares me a little; if all kpop artists were free to create and be what they wanted, how different would they be? What kind of music would they make, how would they act? It's all about the company's decision regardless of popularity or how many years you stay at the company. The longer you wait, the more time your waste. Poor Amber has debuted 8 years, I don't even know if she's an idol or TH-camr now. Henry is a good example too. SM is not able or don't want to give the best plan to EVERYONE. Conflicts already existed between Kris and SM in early 2013.
