you painting gundam models is art, and requires much much more effort and skill than what so many other people do for their youtube channel, great work on painting and building the zaku II
I'm flummoxed. Before you paint it, it looks like a toy and afterwards it looks "alive." And that decal...😍 Obviously I have an affinity for pinups, so I am biased. Great job on the kit and also on his video. Your content is bar none the best on TH-cam and you're the hardest working TH-camr I've encountered. 🤯
You need someone to design you some fluffy water slide logos for some of your builds.
That's actually really easy to do. Using an inkjet and a cricut, you can make and cut them. I've done it on some of my warbirds
All I gotta say is DAMN that's awesome! From the detailing to the weathering, and how you faded the softer music into your usual background music, you're definitely making your own mark on this side of the internet.

Honestly watching you do amazing detailing makes me both inspired, motivated and afraid. I really wanna go back to building GunPla but I was a mere casual so me being the un-creative fuck I am is absolutely terrified on detailing it even in a minor scale.

Getting started and failing is a normal process for anyone, dont be afraid of fuckups cuz theyle be very helpfull lessons. Maybe get started on another kit first if u really want the turn a to be perfect but just getting started is the biggest part

Hey dude, get a couple of cheap kits to hone your technique and go for it! You can do it. I fucked up the shoulder piece on my mg Barbatos, put a nasty scratch in it while doing panel lines. No problem, left it in alcohol for an hour and stripped all the paint off, used putty to fill in the scratch and redid the piece. Sure it was a pain in the ass, but there's very little you can do to completely run a piece.
That was the most artistic model build I have ever seen! You are very inspiring and the next time my wife tells me I get way too worked up when I mess something up on my model I’m going to show her this video!
1:20 -- Ah, now I see what that big furniture part looking chunk of resin Gundam was filing in the file review video was: a Zaku shield.
Nice job on the weathering btw. That's a dangerous rabbit hole to fall down though. It starts with "Oh, just a simple little colour wash", but before you know it you're in an alley doing favours for strangers who have access to the more esoteric weathering powders.
Damningly therapeutic sounds, the shades, weathering, and that orange is just awesomeness wrapped up in an all too short video that leaves a tasty sample with no main course to follow leaving me hungry for more content. Beautiful work Gundam.

This videos is a 10/10 i love zeon mobile suits so much. Matter of a fact the zaku 2 was the reason i started watching gundam in the first because of how menacing it looks and the mono eye sound

I don't know why but your grunt suit paint jobs always appeal more to me. I like the other kits. I guess the simplicity of the suit shows more of the paint work detail which I can appreciate. Especially line work.
Your build looks great! I know in a post you weren't too happy with how the shoulder shield decal ended up but I think after weathering it looks amazing.

damn it looks so fucking good with the resin kit and your paintjob. Stew 2.0 editing on point and great work on your part for those great panning shots. I also love the minor details you put in like the kill tally on the shield and the crudely painted on "Sieg Zeon" on the right shoulder. Makes it look so much more realistic. This would be a great kit for a photoshoot or diorama.
Bandai NEEDS to make a Gear Zulu so you can paint that.

Another great build and paint job. Do you prefer an airbrush for painting or can one use spray paint with smaller caps that won't over spray? Maybe if I sanded the pieces right and used the right kind of primer? Any help would be greatly appreciated

A year ago, no one noticed My Alex had added panel lines to its chest plate and My Zaku FZ legs also had details, not on the standard Zaku FZ.
I'm pretty sure the only perfect grade Gundam is the life sized one in Japan
