I could be wrong and I could be looking into things too much, but I feel like this vid does have some sort of symbolism going on. When the knife started randomly floating before landing on Old Mystery's head, it does represent Twisted Doctor just ending the series at that point (which this video does say, with Alfred's interview mentioning how the show was cancelled "after the incident.") But I think Old Star E. specifically being the one who took the knife represents how there was controversy surrounding the character around that time. Also bc he was the character that people normally thought about when thinking about RE-NIGHTMARE. So he was the one who got the knife in his head instead of the any of the other characters. However old Mystery was still alive after the RE NIGHTMARE series stopped, just appearing in animation memes and such, which might be why in this video he was still alive despite a literal knife being in his head. He was still alive for some time after the show's cancellation. But then the fact that the current Mystery pulled the knife out of Old Star E's head which ended up killing him is creative, cause it shows how the current Mystery did really replace old Mystery (by essentially "killing" him off.) It could've been any other character that could've pulled the knife out or some other situation where the knife was pulled out, but it was the current Mystery who did it (but it could also be bc current Mystery does seem like the type of character to do that lol.)
