a KEY to obtaining FAVOR | sometimes saying NO is a YES to God

Praying all is well with everyone! Have a sit down video that's not an update video for the first time in a WHILE.
Sometimes us saying no to certain things is actually a "yes" to God. And I want to be clear that there was nothing overtly sinful about the event that I thought about going to, however the simple fact that there was hesitation was indication that it was something I should just say no to in order to give God my yes.
Praying this video makes you ponder and that it blesses you!

I have realized that when God set you apart he does it with so much love and I pray that he continues to do that for you😍. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything builds up 1 Corth 10:23).

This really resonated with me, as I watch this.
I am currently preparing for my spiritual growth. Starting with the removal of secular music, TV shows, movies, etc. The Lord has gradually been removing my taste for things of the world.
I know in my spirit that I am going to be set apart. I even prayed 🙏🏾 asking the Lord to prepare and send me Godly friendships. I've started attending church service in person, because my heart and soul have been long for the Lord. I know its a process and I have faith the Lord will see me through.

This was so good, thanks for sharing!! When you decline plans that you know don’t honor God, what reasoning do you give them? like do you explain that it goes against your convictions/faith or? I struggle with saying no because of this.

This is a great question!! Honestly, most times you don’t need to give people a reason. I just do a “thanks so much for thinking to invite me but I won’t be able to make it, enjoy your day/night” and that’s good enough. If it’s a close friend or something like that and they want details then maybe I’d give them details but usually it doesn’t even need to go that deep into the conversation/explanations in my opinion. Hopefully that helps and gives some insight!!
