Mozart wrote about being human. He wrote in a manner that captured all of humanity in dreams, and in the nightmares which come in achieving them. He expressed our condition with an eternal youthfulness. We were his one subject. Like Shakespeare, he loved people as they are. It's powerful. It's eternal. It's Mozart.
“It is a mistake to think that the practice of my art has become easy to me. I assure you, dear friend, no one has given so much care to the study of composition as I. There is scarcely a famous master in music whose works I have not frequently and diligently studied.” ― Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
What year was this written. After he was introduced to Bach and Handel.Mozart probably never heard any good Scarlatti or Byrd or Tallis. These words mean little they hadso little access .And the instrumental training was horrid. Only since the 1970s has musiceducation been decent. People had to figure it out that's why Rach and Hofmann interpret composers the bad way they do. Mozart is only just recently being conducted as it should be. I bet his opera's sounded awful played in his own time. Those who've read letters and know something will not be amazed at what I'm saying even as sad and ironic as it is.
I wonder, in the development section of the first movement, at bar 58, at 2:45, is there a dot after the appoggiatura on B? It looks like it, but I can't tell for sure.
Habler is for me the idealMozartean. Brendel,Haskil,Uchida,Pires,AndrasSchiff,FazilSay,Perahia,Curzon,Lily,MyraHess so many greatMozart players but she gets her own church on a separate planet!Arrau and Landows ka should be put in lockup!Horrendous

The perfect antidote for these troubled times....
Music like this would never be written these days..

@@MrInterestingthings casi siempre a un artista tan inconmensurable lleva tiempo comprenderlo.

This pianist has a perfect touch for the young Mozart!
he was 21 when he wrote this lol
@@DanielFahimi my bad, but still not the child portrait at the start of the video obviously
Owen Crawford The child portrait I used at the beginning of the video is my profile and image of my channel. That's why I picked it.
I imagine that was a copy of Mozart's own manuscript?
@@katehunt8029 yes it is his own handwriting.
Beautiful interpretation and articulation /style from Ingrid Haebler. How havent I heard her Mozart before!! Amazing seeing the autograph score.
One of my favorite Mozart sonata

Such a soft touch this pianist has, perfect for this piece.
You will be surprised how she tackles the variations of the 6th Sonata. Completely different approach.
Is this the original written manuscript by Mozart? wow!
Thank you, this is lovely. This is a perfect tempo.
Best of Mozart Interpretation
Absolute genius
I LOVE HANDWRITING!!!
Mən bu sonatanı konservatoriya imtahanında çalmışdım. Çox gözəl sonatadır. Pianist də çox yaxşı çalır. ♥
