I just have been looking for that wonderful rendition in Sweet Dreams w/ Jessica Lange And ALL wonderful talent But ,just that wonderful, sweet rendition when they were on tour and exhausted In that scene Roll in my sweet baby's arms
I ain't gonna work on the railroad Ain't gonna work on the farm I'm gonna lay around the shack Till the mail train comes back And roll in my sweet baby's arms
All I know is it was from a DVD and the date on the credits to the movie said 1977 , and this if you look up ( A Concert: Behind Prison Walls ) on IMDB it quotes 1977 as well .
I have this dvd. My favorite version of this song!

Thanks for posting this
Knew Roy would do it justice
This has to be 1974. 1975 was when Roy trimmed his sideburns.
Mr. Clark... Mr. Owens....
yeehaw didnt know Roy was a Virginian GO VIRGINIA!
He looks just like my dad
wow is that a Byrdland...
Looks like one from right around the time this was filmed in the early or mid '70s. Roy wasn't still wearing his sideburns like that by 1977.
JUST THINK
HE GOT PAID DOING WHAT HE LOVED AND LOVED DOING IT
Nice, but where are the harmonies?
roy started at one tempo, they slowed down immediately, and they kept slowing down! practically a ballad by the end.
formidable!!!
