It blows my mind that a fully assembled, running and driving car will only be worth a grand, but parting it out can yield multiple times the value of the car

Because after you part it out you have the remains of the car to deal with. Unless you have a place to store it or can easily take it to be crushed, that's more than most people want to deal with. That's why few people part out cars.
I’ve got a 2015 grand caravan sxt with 124,000 miles and the V6 3600 . No problems. The one you showed has all the bells and whistle so highly recommend you’ll get it for your daughter.
I have a 2014 town and country. Even if I had that dent in the back liftgate, I would recommend it to you for your daughter. It doesn't get the best fuel mileage of the minivans. 21-25 mpg on the highway. However, it does everything else great. I have been commuting a 250-mile round trip for more than two years in the minivan, and it doesn't need anything other than general maintenance. I've had the tires balanced and rotated, but it didn't even need an alignment. I have everything that one has. I don't drive it daily around town, but as you see. They are in great shape when people donate them.
The Town & Country is in great shape. Definitely worth getting for your daughter at the right price. The Tesla would be cool too. Bring back the driving from Copart Videos. Those were awesome.
You can't beat those Chrysler Town & Country vans if you are in the market for one.....they are very nice. They are also supposed to be very reliable...I did know one person that had issues with theirs, but it was their own fault for constantly red lining the engine....
randy there is a button in the right next to where you pushed the buttons for the side doors its the middle button between those two and there is a button in the back where you pealed off the paint it was that black button with the trunk picture on there
Hey Randy, such a treat to turn on my iPad first thing in the morning right after breakfast and see your thumbnail pop up! you are an extremely important part of my daily routine! Great way to kick off the day! I see you are about to cross the 440,000 subscriber mark! I plan to continue on the ride up over 1 million! Hands-down the best automotive channel on TH-cam! Kudos let’s keep Rollin would love to see you get that Chrysler Pacifica for your daughter!
Fantastic walk around as usual Randy! That van is perfect for kid hauling. I will last her many years. Adding car pulling is great for extra cash flow. It will add greatly to you're channel.
Hello Randy The 2013 Tesla Model S P85+ is a good looking car even though it's got damage on the drivers side and front bumper. The 1995 Chevrolet 3500 is a good looking truck even though it's got damage on the drivers back door and bedside.
As far as I'm aware, jumping the bumper only pops the hood (if the 12V is dead), and then you'd need to charge up the 12V in order to use the key to open the door. But can't just open the door by jumping it.
Salvage titles are not convertible in Missouri and Kansas and Oklahoma and several other states. You can take one of those to a more reasonable state, get them inspected, and get a rebuilt branded title. I guarantee it can't be taken back to the plains states and titled there but there are plenty of places you can take them, get them inspected, and drive them.
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds I don't know if you're referring to resell I was just referring to driving it on a daily basis, as a personal vehicle not for resale. At least that's the way it is in Texas
Good on you... I wonder if Elon Musk was shown your video from the Tesla problem issue... Silly guys, they must have known it would end in tears for them... Respect to you though for not ditching all Tesla cars for next year or so...
ScrapLife Garage has been doing that on their channel for years, where they buy like a wrecked sports car and salvage the good parts to work on another project and/or sell them online.
I would definitely go after the chrysler town and country they are great vans when taken care of like that one. Hope you can get it for a really good deal. Thanks again for the video.
We know you're not going to buy it. Cause you're not gonna keep your Tesla now that you have that Cadillac electric vehicle. You're gonna sell your tesla real soon.
I would rock that mini van,put a new trunk just for look better, service and call it the day and give to your daughter. Let us know what you got for ur daughter, make a video im very curious. Love this chanel.
I like your plan to buy some vehicles to part out. It would be a nice change-up for your channel and you can hopefully make some money doing it. I hope you’ll take a shot at it. Peace my friend, DrRick

I thought Randy was going to say “Why would I be interested in another one? I want to take to that dealership and set it on fire in their parking lot😂😂😂”
Big word of caution on that Town &Country: the 3.6 litre engine is known for shredding its timing chain at 165-175k. Otherwise is a nice vehicle. If you can find out its service history you might be ok. 😊
Well this is interesting. I’d have liked a newer Tesla but those are uh expensive 😂! Love the other cars A lot of incidents lately and repos! Keep up the great content randy!!!

Hey Randy those 3.6 liter v6 engines are super reliable I had a 2012 dodge journey RT and 296 thousand miles and still climbing
Heck yea! Go for it Randy.
You will be ahead of the game if you can win that Tesla for the right price.
Hey Randy love the videos I live in Shawnee not too far from your shop
Nice Chrysler mini Van Randy. 😎😎👍👍 Will make your duaghter and grandchildren a nice daily

I love these HHR's man.
These things are awesome.
Better than the PT Cruiser I think.
2k for parts is a good deal. The windshield alone is a little over 1300
Wheels alone are $2k, sweet deal
Definitely buy it,the battery and drive unit value has to be around 25k on its own. Leave it to u to find another silver model S
