The movie Maxed Out, 2007, encouraged me to get out of debt. That was my introduction to Warren. Debt is a pariah to the American people, and it's worse now than then (subprime car loans, payday loans, student loans and no bankruptcy). Go watch it because nothing has changed since then, and nothing will change without she or Bernie, but especially her. Warren. For the sake of the people.
Debt is not supposed to be a modus operandi. Debt is for affording a secure investment. Borrow at 3% interest to make 7% returns. Elizabeth Warren is my favorite among the rest of the Democrat candidates running for president. I think she and Kamala Harris are the only ones who can make Trump move out of the White House. And for those who are asking about her native American heritage, they should think if that is really important to see if she is qualified for the job. She is until now one of the very few politicians from both parties who can really change the actual mess in which our country is now.
CNN is doing promotional clips for Elizabeth Warren...Normally I would be cynical about this sort of thing but she has been a favorite of mine for a long time and I have to admit I am biased. I want her to succeed. The factors that cause me concern are these...voters for Democratic candidates will want the candidate who is best suited to counter trump and defeat him in 2020 and they don't think she can do that. She is intense and lacks charm and charisma as opposed to others like Harris. Harris is mostly all hat and no cattle but I will support her or Biden or Bernie or anyone else when push comes to shove, Her name recognition is poor to most Americans as I understand it. It is her job to correct that deficit. The Pocahantis thing that trump might raise is BS and only will matter to the mouth breathing deplorables that support trump.

I might be Canadian, and therefore hold no votes in the US. But Elizabeth Warren as president would be a damn good way to start things in the right direction and a damn good first female president.
She was convinced lots of people declared bankruptcy to game the system. Then she saw that actually, they got sick, lost their jobs, and were trying not to lose their houses. Suddenly, it all sounded very familiar. And she started thinking very differently. Good for her.
Warren also waited until the actual day of the debate to claim she supports Medicare for All. Which doesn't exactly make her look like someone leading the Progressive agenda. She also backed Hillary over Bernie. Do I think she's a better candidate than Biden and the others? Definitely. But she lacks the consistency and vision that Bernie has, end of story.
I think she has a positive it-factor that the other candidates don't. I feel like she actually cares about me, as opposed to being another candidate who simply thinks actively about the issues that affect me. I feel like if I met her at an event or something and she wasn't super busy, she'd be genuinely happy I got a part-time job or an A on my math test. Elizabeth Warren is my favorite among the rest of the Democrat candidates running for president. I think she and Kamala Harris are the only ones who can make Trump move out of the White House. The factors that cause me concern are these...voters for Democratic candidates will want the candidate who is best suited to counter trump and defeat him in 2020 and they don't think she can do that. She is intense and lacks charm and charisma as opposed to others like Harris. She didn't have to accept/solicit (despite vowing not to take corporate donations)big corporation campaign donations, i.e. Amazon, Apple, AT&T, Microsoft etc...

Warren also waited until the actual day of the debate to claim she supports Medicare for All. Which doesn't exactly make her look like someone leading the Progressive agenda. She also backed Hillary over Bernie. Do I think she's a better candidate than Biden and the others? Definitely. But she lacks the consistency and vision that Bernie has, end of story.

I think she has a positive it-factor that the other candidates don't. I feel like she actually cares about me, as opposed to being another candidate who simply thinks actively about the issues that affect me. I feel like if I met her at an event or something and she wasn't super busy, she'd be genuinely happy I got a part-time job or an A on my math test. She's the charming maternal grandmother to the slightly eccentric, well-meaning but occasionally unfortunate paternal grandmother that is Hillary. I hope that once more candidates start dropping out, her poll numbers will reflect a reality I see taking shape; a reality where Warren is the nominee, and eviscerating Trump in both the polls and the debates. 2020 has me hyped up, and I'm all here for it.

As a Warren supporter who also distrusts CNN, this video makes me feel very confused.
They've also had the Young Turks people on CNN a lot lately and many other progressives. I dunno, maybe it's a new strategy to bring in a younger audience and reclaim some credibility?
