Guys this is very well done and clearly communicates the machines, steps and machinery. Pleasantly. It’s a job well done and I very much appreciate your having done it, because you didn’t have to.
Outstanding video. Great operation/process. Basically, you describe the entire process without somebody "blabbing for 18 straight minutes." The music is entertaining enough without being distracting or annoying. Intermittent subtitles also great as they describe what's happening (or going to happen) without scrolling and being distracting all over the screen. Your video person(s) are First Class!
I really like this set up. I'm going to start a farm in Missouri and Hay is a great "crop" down there. Makes sense with the hay and cattle. You could buy Bull calves and raise them to butchering weight, that way you could have a new rotation of cattle continuously. As for the bales, feed the rounds to the cattle and keep them "grass fed" and sell the small bales at market. If you have good quality hay that comes from natural fertilizer like these, then they fetch good prices.
Andrew, I'm also looking at starting a cattle and hay operation in South Central Missouri, and I was curious as to what part you're looking at. I haven't found anybody my age that can relate with me. Good luck with your dreams. Tom
Very nice video. Good exercise for the girls. I had to line bales up to be loaded on the truck when i was 8 yrs. old. hot dirty work but satisfying. and yes, we always spread slurry on the hay field to nurish the roots for the next crop. Some city slickers who live in apartments have no concept of how a farm works lol.
Hi Joseph how are you? I was wanting to know if you could do a video on how to hook up and unhook the mower conditioner, hay Tedder, hay rake, round baler and round baler monitor and square baler and round bale collector and how they work and operate and how to operate them and how to get them ready for hay season and a walk around and an overview of the tractors and hay equipment this summer?
I was feeling like that I am playing farming simulator. It looks easy in game but it is more difficult in real life. Really enjoyed this whole Farm Tour as I am also son of farmer. Sorry for my bad English
Once we get a couple of rounds done in the field, we never stop, just pull out of the windrow, calculate how far you drive with the bale tying, drop the bale, and pull back into the windrow. No hay buildup anywhere then.
Why would you do that when you can just step on the clutch pedal and wait a bit, the baler has a kicker device that was designed to eliminate all that wear and tear on machinery.
My Request to you all and scientists and Farmers market to grow such biggest Farm in my State Odisha, Bhubaneswar, Khurda, Cuttack in Odisha state in India
I’m wondering why no one put a backup camera in those tractors so the farmers don’t have to sit turned around to see what’s going on in back of them. I had an aftermarket one put in my car. I’m not a farmer, just a little old lady who embraces modern technology
I want something like that for my farm animals like Horses,Cows,Goats and other animals that eat hay but thats a lot of work and hard labor so i think i'll pay someone to do it all for me then i'll carry on!!😄😄 comment what you'll do 😉😉
Holy. Child labor. Buy a bale wagon like a New Holland 1032 or something like that. I used one years ago and could pick and stack more bales than 8 guys picking by hand beside me. I did notice the tractor operator had quite a gut on him while the girls breathing hay dust stacked the bales on the wagon. Good way to make sure the kids leave the farm.
martin, anybody under the age of eighteen is considered a child by the law. Welfare, where did that come from, unless from experience. Farming is one of the last honest forms of work, underappreciated by most of the people who live an urban life. All I was saying is if you buy the right equipment, you don't have to have 2 girls pulling bales out of a hay baler.
No thats not what you were saying at all,"child labour" then the poke at the driver then the piece about "the children leaving the farm " .You were doing a hatchet job on them ,small farms have to get by the best they can ,they may not be able to afford new machinery so the whole family join in and help out with the harvest Hopefully we are now seeing the collapse of "mega farms" and multi million dollar fraud farms If more millenial age people did an honest days work instead of moaning about "safe spaces " and "trans community" rights the world would be a better place
Why those tractors they look like the bare minimum or too small for baleing as the front end loaders are too small for those bales to be transported 8 at a time on a trailer it all looks a bit too precarious
Fertilization is a critical part to making hay. The grass mines a lot of nutrients from the ground when it's removed 3-4 times a year at several tons/acre, and those nutrients must be replenished, otherwise yield suffers. And manure, with its micronutrients and microbes, is the best manure. And the price is right, too.

Noel Martin no I sure don’t know how farms work. All very interesting

Pinkal Bhakta completely opposite lmao it’s harder in the game and easier in real life
Labor intensity, and back breaking Job. I hope you stay healthy. Excellent work.
So very nice...and it cleans up very nice too. WOW!!
Amazing video. A lot more to our beef than must would know!!!
started fertilising before the field is even cleared?
Who’s the manufactures the round bale trailer? Looks brilliant
Placing pallets underneath the round bales in the shed would eliminate spoilage due to ground contact. Just sayin'
Excellent suggestion.
Thanks.
I’m no hay specialist but wouldn’t putting it on concrete be good enough? Looks like dang good storage to me.
@@michaelbergman8249 hay sweats
Michael Bergman you still get spoilage on concrete
Did you not see the concrete? Open your eyes junior.
Thanks for sharing... God bless you all.
Good videos great quality, am impressed with the bale picker upper, but am still wondering about picking up net wrapped with a grabe. Good video
Easier to stack
Greetings from angola thats some purty hoosier hay my good man

Ladies at work :) Love the video
The politician at the end there did great spreading.....
My suggestion when round bailing put the tractor in reversr and back up a bit then while your closing the gate you can start agian on the row

How big is your farm, how cows is on it, do you chop silage corn or grass or both.
Farm is approximately 300 acres.
We chop grass and feed cattle with special Japanese diet.
That good looking girl comes in handy for lots of things.

Two girls there!!!
I fell that I can handle that part of farming.
Those girls are getting a workout in
that music is not so nice...but the work and what i can see is awesome.
What's the point of 2 people on a hay trailer
Might as well bring everybody along if they need something to do.
Easier to keep up if the hay is being fed through fast, and doesn't tire the help out as fast if they don't have to handle every bale.
He works there
素晴らしい景色と爽快感です!
見てると癒されます(*^^*)

did not see any children and we all know you liberals are totally against any form of work ,just claiming welfare
