    Y’all I had a an eating disorder for many years and let me tell you this women has one too. Don’t take diet advice from her, especially if you are young. Just focus on eating a balanced diet and don’t be afraid to indulge once and a while. Also make sure you are getting healthy amounts of exercise☺️ the more you exercise the more you can indulge😌

    • @4651adri
      @4651adri 3 ปีที่แล้ว +67

      She probably has healthy diet obsession or something, I am not going to diagnose her because I am not a doctor. I can only assume that, as a former model, she was required to have a certain type of body, I can only imagine the restrictions she had to endure to keep her career consistent. I am not justifying her food restrictions on her children but people must understand that mentality sticks with you and it's hard to shake it off, people with an ED understand this concept very well. I'm surprised by the amount of judgement (I am sure it comes from a good place like a concern for the Hadid's sisters) in the comments, I was expecting a little bit of sympathy too...

    • @4651adri
      @4651adri 3 ปีที่แล้ว +85

      Also, the concept of 'the more you exercise, the more you can indulge' is not very healthy either, I am sorry. You're allowed to eat food regardless, even the 'bad' one. It all boils down to a good food education.

    • @mikiwilliams4133

      @@4651adri except the more you exercise the more you can indulge is true. Body builders, and pro fighters have done "what I eat in a day" and shocked people who lack knowledge about nutrition because they're eating "unhealthy" foods like pizza, burgers, pasta, and even sweets like cake or cookies. They can eat so seemingly unhealthy because theycut exercise so much to maintain and build muscle which weighs more than fat so also their bmi's put them at overweight or obese for their height, despite being healthier than the average person.

      @@4651adri also to add my personal opinion of Yolanda being negative without sympathy for her probable eating disorder or just food issues is directly tied to her treatment of her children. You can have unhealthy views of food and educate yourself to do better than you were taught, and she has instead taught her kids knowledge and a mindset that needs to be unlearned.
      Yolanda put Gigi down for playing volleyball because it would "give her a manly figure" and restricted her diet so much as a teen she passed out at a photoshoot due to low blood sugar. When her son Anwar was in school playing sports she gave him a "filling" breakfast of milk, almonds, and a bag of vitamin supplements. She has also made remarks to make-up artists doing Gigi + Bella's makeup to make their eyes rounder and less oriental looking. Despite their eyes being round and not oriental looking already, particularly Gigi's, which is racist, and puts them down for their natural features.

    Organic has nothing to do with animals being treated well. It just means they are not treated with antibiotics, antifungals, pain medications etc should they get sick or injured. It means they suffer more with conditions, and if they are not able to heal without treatment, they are then killed. Organic is really misunderstood IMO. It may be healthier for us but it is a nightmare for the animals.

      I think flora or plant butter is better it still has the fat but without the artery clogging cholesterol. As an Irish person I can say here the dairy cows aren't treated better here than any other place in the world, they only get out in summer the other like 9 months a year they spend in sheds on slatted floors with no bedding and they are still separated from they're calves within 24 - 48 hours and eventually slaughtered themselves when milk production declines it is not some fairytale lives for them like in the movies. Cows milk is so unnecessary for humans also goat milk like Yolanda mentioned plant milk is much easier to digest than both and has less suffering involved

I put it at the bottom of the bowl, cover the fruit with oatmeal, add water and microwave. Because it's frozen you have to microwave a bit longer. Then smash the fruit up in the oatmeal as I stir it. Then we sprinkle a little flax seed, hemp hearts and chia seed mix on top. They love it. They used to heap brown sugar on their oatmeal and now the fruit is all that sweetens it.

      So there’s actually been some studies on what kind of housing provides the best quality of life and actually free range chickens don’t have as good of a life necessarily as chickens that are raised in these enrichment cages. Really interesting a kind of shocking to me but the parameters measured were not just looking at what we think make a chicken happy but attempting to assess what the chickens themselves need to feel unstressed and mentally well. If someone does want free range chickens or eggs I also recommend researching the farm and looking for companies with information provided on certified humane because the labels free range and pasture raised don’t really have restrictions and don’t mean what you think! Humans are definitely cruel and all we can do is try to do our best for ourselves and those we share the planet with.

    Honestly, switching to stevia and kicking sugar made my cravings almost completely evaporated (also losing 22 lbs!). I was shocked that not only did my sugar cravings disappeared but also I gradually needed the stevia less and less. In the end I realized that the sugar rush was more important than the actual taste. Most days I drink my coffee/matcha without sweetener now and that was unfathomable before. For me, it's like quitting cigarettes, once I was off of them it turns out I didn't miss it all, it's breaking the addiction that's hard. Although, I do still enjoy sweets, indulging in small portions of 90% chocolate and berries. Sugar really is insidious, just like cigarettes you don't realize how nefarious it is until you quit.

      Depends on the region of the US. I live in a more rural town and so pretty much all our dairy and meat is from grass fed cows.
      But even then, dairy cows aren't born and raised in a feedlot. Dairy cows on a dairy farm tend to be in pastures or dry lots and they're brought in to be milked and then put back into their areas.
      There's a lot of misinformation about dairy cows and beef cows because of PETA and peoples lack of self education. They'd rather believe all these cows are stuck in a tiny warehouse than research a proper dairy or meat farm.

    • @AmandaBoysenberry
      @AmandaBoysenberry 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Some areas of the country are too dry to have the cows on pasture year round, so they feed alfalfa. In the northern states where there is plenty of rainfall they are mostly on pasture+ whatever supplemental feed they need. I wouldn’t call it a feedlot, it’s more like a barn with a big turnout area. If you buy “organic” they are required to have pasture time so it avoids the problem, but your milk is going to ship from farther away if you are in a dry state.

I feel like I look so much older than I am and would love to consult you about so many things. One thing that I would love to be able to ask you about is your products. You talk about "preventing" but not helping or reversing the aging process. I would love to purchase your products but have no clue where to even begin. I find it funny how people try to DEFEND Yolanda by saying "BUT GIGI IS A MODEL AND SHE IS LOOKING AFTER HER DIET SO SHE DOESNT GET BULLIED AND REMAINS A SUCCESSFUL MODEL." Like do you guys not realise that this IS the problem ??!!! Like it's no reason to starve someone even if it means she gets to be a supermodel. This is how this culture expands and grows. Yolanda herself was a model and had to do this and this is how she treats her daughter. Maybe Gigi will also do this to her daughter if she chooses to be a model. Just because it is needed doesn't means it's good. Modeling isn't a life saving career where she has to starve to save someone. It SHOULDNT be needed. People shouldn't be defending it. Even if the 'industry' defends it, we as viewer and someone who it's targeted for, shouldn't think it's alright or god forbid, defend it.

    Fact check: lemon water is not great for everyone. It really depends on you body elemental type. ( See ayurvedic or tibetan medicine)
    What really detox you is the water, regardless of the lemon. You can also add apple cider vinegar, or ume(Japanese apricot) vinegar.
    Fact # 2 matcha or regular green tea are both from crushed leaves (matcha is actually powdered) and have exactly the same nutrients. They both contains powerful antioxidants, minerals and catechins. Matcha is the king of the tea ceremony, not a Starbucks staple.
    Fact#3. Almond and nuts in general are more rich in minerals and good fats and have some protein. In fact protein content in almonds is almost equal to their carbs content. But they are high in fats and are loaded with vitamins and minerals. They are better raw and not toasted. They should be soaked a little. A handful should be the maximum intake per day.
    Fact#4 honey is not refined sugar but is still sugar and it needs to be eaten in moderation. But it has antibiotic properties so a teaspoon is enough to keep sore throat and cold at bay during the seasonal changes.
    Fact #5. Organic chicken does not mean it's free range. You need to have it organic and free range. Only free range raised without antibiotics is also considered "safe".
    #7. I am Italian. I would never eat pasta Al ragu' (Bolognese) with bread. It's common sense, no carbs on carbs. Especially for dinner. Evening is energetically a slowing down phase for your body ( well it depends on the profession ), which is ready for rest, that much carbs will be converted into sugars that will be not used and therefore stored. Guess where?
    Anyways, she surely eats super healthy.
