They don’t understand. Studying Fiqh and beyond basic principles of Islam. Is like studying a law degree, there’s a lot of rulings and consensus and have to sift through a lot of content. There’s no way a layman like David Wood would be able to understand any of the content without guidance.

i've noticed something very telling when watching debates like this , efdawa, Hamza's den etc
The non muslim is always desperate, they can never attack the core doctrine of islam, and so has to try and criticize silly non issues. So if islam is a tree, they will try to focus on one leaf because the tree trunk is solid.
On the other hand, the muslim always goes straight for the trunk of the tree, when it comes to christianity, atheism etc. Because their foundations are weak.
Just take for example this clown talking with shaykh Uthman, he danced and shouted for more than an hour. What has he said that has proven islam false? ...nothing
He keeps lying saying the shaykh has thrown scholars under the bus. The irony is, if you mention John 17:3 to him, he will quickly get nervous and throw his own Man God under the bus.

It is amazing how when you go to David woods channel, his followers/comments are exactly similar to him! They write comments claiming sheikh is the one on the loop and webbing stories and lies. Sheikh I feel like you really need to dumb it down for these people. Any technical words (as simple as jizya, use tax instead altogether) might help see these people. Maybe stop using any terminology which non Muslims are not used to, like fikh, tafseer, etc and use rulings, explanations respectively. Might help them

It's your faith. About question "Allah exists" I don't know what is your criteria of "existing" but I tell you this. Everything in this world is dependent on something and there is absolutely no doubt that there is "Existing" and if there is existing then in order for "Dependent" existing to happen there has to be an Entity which is "Independent" of everything. For example. D3 depends on D2 which depends on D1 if we continue like this then we get an "Infinity" dependency which will make "Existing" non-Existing. Therefore logically there has be an "Independent" entity for the "Dependent" has to occur; that is ALLAH.

@@aceb250 Jesus is not God. He never said he was God. He was a prophet and a messenger delivering God's message. He only preached about God. And called the people to worship God. As for salvation through him, of course it makes sense. He was sent to his people the Jews at that time. So any one of them that followed him (accepted him as prophet and followed his teachings) among them and up till the time of prophet Muhammad, they are saved. Those that rejected his message will not be saved. As are those that consider him as God, The God of Jesus is the God of Muhammad and all the other prophets (peace be upon them all). We don't need to see God or for Him to live among humans to believe in His existence. Not believing in the many signs of the existence of God around us and insisting on a manifest sign of God is what lands people in disbelief, because even if some of these signs are made manifest to them, they misinterpret them as something else, like magic, or associating divinity to humans etc. So they end up lost much worse than they started off.

I used to follow David Wood. I must agree, I am not the same as majority of his other followers who are there with a confirmation bias. When I started to debate or discuss with individuals who weren’t layman and someone who was more knowledgeable Davids arguments fall flat. Once you start to analyze and open to the understand and willing to learn the procedure and steps behind it, it becomes clear.
