@@chuckholmes2075 They measured the amps and volts @ the amplifiers subwoofer outputs = the actual power output! If they had clamped the amperage pulled through the amplifiers power inputs, then multiplyed by the voltage, you would take eff. Into the equation.
@@evilinside5984 clamping is not accurate. That’s if the power factor was 1.0 which it never is. It’s typically only 80% of what’s measured. A lot of the power in is wasted on heat.
That clipped signal will blow that amp especially if wired low like most SPL ppl who would buy this ... not smart to advertise clipping to achieve a wattage number ..
Yeah, better at al least 14v, not 18v its loot of investemnt in batteries and alternators, and yeah for another dude, there is amp than can run over 10kw at 12 and some vollts, for exanple cressendos can do at 13 and some, at their ratted power dc audio allso can ^_^

Chavy Cash it’s not better or worst than tweeters, different thing. Better to use tweets and horns. Comes as a single piece not in pairs.
