    Kim, I live in Northwest Montana, 60 miles from the Canadian border. We have 7 acres and our house of course. You are welcome to park on our property over the summer months and explore the area. I would not recommend wintering in an RV. Wonderful video, thanks for sharing.

    Hahaha! "This really is a cult and I have you under my control." I love that you poke fun at all the meanies out there who are determined to bring you down. Those of us who appreciate what you do to help people also appreciate that you can beat down the negative Neds with your humor. Keep up the great work, Bob...many of us out here understand your primary goal. Using kindness while helping others. The Golden Rule is always the best rule. :-)

    In BC Canada, BCAA does inspections. Book and it takes a couple of hours, $200. I couldn't wait, so I just went to my own mechanic and paid $200 for him. I got a written inspection that he used in case I did have an issue. EASY and worth it.

    I have had the "itch" to roam for too many years now (unusual in my family tribe). I get it. Also realize once I start my roaming doubtful
    returning to settling will appeal so much. It becomes mundane no matter how beautiful or lovely the area or home. I do appreciate
    a home base to launch from. Some of us just have the need to drive, explore, see this amazing country. Its speaks to the freedom
    we are blessed with in America. Good Luck Kim, and bravo for doing it.

      Yes, it's not unusual for Bob Well's to upload videos that he recorded months ago. I started watching his stuff about a year ago. Several times, I would look up a video subject's blog or youtube channel and notice that it had been some time since the interview.

    • @cmaizyb5269
      @cmaizyb5269 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@noreenn6976 I'm not sure I understand your question. So forgive me if I am grossly oversmplifying
      You can find Bob Well's videos on his TH-cam channel, search for Cheap RV Living. When you get there, look just under the banner photo and you will see the words, Home Videos Playlists Community Channels About. Click on the word, Videos, and all his videos are there. You can scroll down to the begining and start watching lots of instructionals and interviews. Sometimes the person interviewed will tell about their own youtube channel or a blog. Usually Bob puts a link in the description, below the video. That way, you can learn more about that individual and their travels. When I have watched these other people's videos, I have sometimes noticed things like they are already moved into the forest that month in their videos, but Bob's shows them in a desert. Or you can see that they already remodeled their van since the interview, or their hair has grown out, etc. etc. One year, I saw that a lot of his interviews looked as if they were done at a gathering in the desert, which was probably the RTR. But he strung the interview postings out over several months. He probably doesn't want to just dump everything out, all at once.

    That is a great plan in living in your RV on your own property. It is our plan as well. Doing it in the Pacific NW is even better. How far out in the country do you have to go to find property that allows you to live in your RV?

    • @geebonzo
      @geebonzo 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to find wide open zoning. I wanted to do this, 20 years ago, but there was just no way to buy a nice piece of property and stay in an RV. You generally have to go to the county office that handles building permits and ask what you can do in the zoning. There are places with minimal zoning.

      Outside city limits to smaller incorporated areas is where we would like to find a few acres. That is where you are going to find Unincorporated areas where the County still maintains the roads and access to what ever stores the smaller town has.
