Came here on other vids and subscribed,it might be a bit light on in-depth information, but it’s kind of accurate, which is a lot more than other u tube vids…. So thankyou ,the producers! Best regards from New Zealand.

Really good, I read Danish history for over 30 years and never heard about this. Subs and will share.

It’s probably not without reason that some of the most well known Bronze and early Iron Age motifs in Scandinavia were of ships…

Trøndelag had the biggest amount of sailors and ships in the Norwegian Leidangr 💪💪

I’m not sure there were any churches to store their sails in, since they weren’t christians yet…😮

Christianity were present from the early part of the 9th century - so most of the time of the "Viking Era" - Christianity was present!
And the storing of sails in churches continued well beyond the part we in Scandinavia call the "Viking Era/Age"

Very jumpy with the timeline. It kind of ruins the accuracy of the whole story.

So are these the people who call themselves Wendock also Windish who settled in Pennsylvania? Their food is interesting as it's notably germanic but with very heavy Crimea and tartar influences. They almost identify as brothers of Hungarian today. And if they are the same ppl, they still like getting a bit tipps after a religious service. 😂
