It's also called Crisco . You can find it here: amzn.to/2AWpObx And here is some more fun information on what it is: www.thekitchn.com/shortening-vs-butter-in-cookies-whats-the-difference-213812
Shelby looking at you like "I know you could've made these cookies dog edible using carob instead of chocolate. I was there when you made those doggie treat videos. CAROB. Not chocolate. CAROB."
The cookies look great! I can never cope with people in the kitchen when l cook lol, how you manage to with 3 people and 3 large (but lovely) dogs is beyond me. Great home cooking :)
It gives us a challenge for sure, but we all work well together and always have. We each try to do a little bit of everything. I basically man the camera for these videos! It works out well! We are having a lot of fun!
Ooh these looked delicious, made my mouth water! I really liked that the guys were more talkative in this video. And Oakley walking over Memphis laying flat on the floor was so funny! 😂
Love this new channel!!! I always love seeing you, jess and Jamie. But the videos with Greg are extra favorites! Also I have a vivid memory of climbing onto the counter and rummaging through the spice cabinet when I was about 8 years old. Found the baking chocolate and thought I had struck gold. It was sooo bitter. Burned into my memory. 🙂
This is my favorite channel! Keep doing what your doing! Also, You guys are a inspiration. I am getting a husky puppy for my birthday, and I will name it after one of your little furbabies.
Definitely going to try this, without the cayenne though. My family are wimps and have said a resounding "nope" to it. I might try adding some orange zest or maybe use orange flavoured chocolate.
Love this. It you put a little oil around inside of bowl before melting chocolate, the chocolate and any other "sticky" ingredient will slide right out. Just like with the honey
Yeahhhhh!! Perfect recipe for the ultimate hot chocolate lovers like me. I was planning to make some cookies & this recipe is just what i want. & your doggo is super cute :)
The thing I like about your channel is that you show your mistakes and usually cooking channels always make it seem like it comes out perfect every time which sets in unrealistic expectations.
YES!! This was our goal! We wanted to showcase what we do, but also the fun behind it, and show you what could go wrong if things do go wrong! SO many cooking channels have it all primped and proper and perfect! We know that we aren't perfect, and neither is anyone else! Thanks so much for the comment!
yum :D :) Brownies Ingredients 1-1/2 cups caster sugar 2/3 cup cocoa powder 60g plain flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 4 eggs, lightly beaten 200g unsalted butter, melted 2 teaspoon vanilla extract 200g dark chocolate, roughly chopped Method preheat the oven to 160c. line a 22c square baking tin with baking paper. stir together the sugar, cocoa powder, flour and baking powder in a bowl. mix in the eggs, butter and the vanilla extract until combined and them mic in the chocolate. pour into the tin and bake for 40-45 minutes. leave to cool slightly in the tin, then turn out on to a wire rack. cut into squares to serve! enjoy (Please try them, they are to die for)
They really are just as good without the heat! That was how we used to make them all the time, and then we tried it with, and all of our family likes heat. hehehe
I might just have a creative mind, but with those flattened cookies, if you take blue and green icing and put green on the higher parts and blue on the flatter, wouldn't it look like little planets? I think that would be cute!
The excitement while waiting for the cookies to be done! 😂 best chocolate ever: dark chocolate mousse with cherry and chili, mmh 😋 One day you need to do it as livestream!
You don't have to break this up, it's melts super easy! Took me 40 seconds and it was all melted. This is unsweetened chocolate and it really does melt very easy!
You know, when I read Hot Chocolate, I thought you were gonna make cookies with molten chocolate which oozes out on breaking. I didn't know you meant spicy until I read the description LOL
These look so good!! Will def be trying them soon. What container do you use to store the girls' dry food? I've been looking for one just like the one you have because I like the size and wheels but I haven't been able to find it.
LOL I made 10 cookies with 1 tablespoon of cayenne because I didn't hear the last part. I was just listening to the cooking part and I didn't hear how spicy/hot you should make it!It was SO hot we decided to not eat them (We gave them to our Chinese neighbours who could tolerate a lot of heat and spicyness )
As we have said many times, we plan on doing this. We are currently trying to hold back until TH-cam actually monetizes this channel. . currently we are spending money to make these videos. . but we don't have any ads. . so no money is coming in to support this channel yet. So we WILL be doing those things as well. We also wanted to pump out a few recipes for the holidays. :)
Im in the process of making these right now. I also may or may not have tried the chocolate... Im excited to try one once they are cooked. Just a note on your written recipee, i think it would be helpfull to list all the dry ingredients after you say mix the dry (same with the wet). Especially because sugar is normally considered a wet ingredient and isnt in this case. And maybe list sugar to roll in the ingredients list. Other then that good job on the recipee.

These look soo good 😋

best chocolate ever: dark chocolate mousse with cherry and chili, mmh 😋
One day you need to do it as livestream!
OH yum!
Yup, you should try it. Do you have "Lindt" in the US? Those are the best!
My family might like these, since they are spicy. My hubby wouldn’t 😉
Make two batches, one spicy and one not. You could even color the sugar red for the spicy ones!
Yumm!!
Oh muh gawd, Greg has a Winston shirt on. :D
Can you make a gone to the snow dogs pancake please it will be a miracle
Can I make my recipe for my family
I took my tree down in April this year. It was too pretty to put away.
TIP
When melting the chocolate, break it up into small pieces.
FOR HIGH ALTITUDE
Add 1/8 to 1/4 cup flour and add 1/2 a tablespoon of water.
You don't have to break this up, it's melts super easy! Took me 40 seconds and it was all melted. This is unsweetened chocolate and it really does melt very easy!
U guys should make a cooking apron 4 gttsd or this channel!
Yay!! I’ve made these before they are very delicious and Merry Christmas!!
And we just used some different ingredients
If they were different ingredients, then they are different cookies hehehe
My mom accidentally made ganache with unsweetened chocolate. HO-LY MOLY. My jaw locked just remembering. lol
What if certain people don’t like cayenne powder?
+U2Yes 1DNo EDCP/Sabrina Kitty/Brown/Hooves you can leave it out
Cooking with the Snow Dogs Okay, thanks! Also, thanks for replying! Memphis is my favorite husky of all time from your channel ^^
You need an oven cam like Alton Brown did on Good Eats.
I just looked up what in the world corn syrup is and apparently it’s banned in the eu but the is a substitute call golden syrup it works well in this
You know, when I read Hot Chocolate, I thought you were gonna make cookies with molten chocolate which oozes out on breaking. I didn't know you meant spicy until I read the description LOL
Just curious, what exactly is "Shortening"?
As a pawdience member from the UK, I've not heard of this before.
Here you go: www.thekitchn.com/shortening-vs-butter-in-cookies-whats-the-difference-213812

This is the one we use amzn.to/2AKntMT
Thank you!!
Choco for people!
LOL I made 10 cookies with 1 tablespoon of cayenne because I didn't hear the last part. I was just listening to the cooking part and I didn't hear how spicy/hot you should make it!It was SO hot we decided to not eat them

do a main course recipe pls, like something you eat for lunch/dinner

Maybe you can use time-lapse to show the baking process. I think that would be great!
those cookies remind me of those lava cookies in Pokemon
Looks like you need to keep Greg away from hot
And Oakley too! hahahah
Greg still hasn’t learned to not touch a hot pan?
Im in the process of making these right now. I also may or may not have tried the chocolate... Im excited to try one once they are cooked.
