I got rid of all my friends when I realised I'm stronger without them. As you get older and more successful, you come to find the people you once called 'friend' don't really have your back at all. If you get too successful, they will turn on you.
Truth. My friends were fine being friends when I was the swarthy 18 year old guy cleaning toilets and emptying trash cans at the local grocery store. They didn't seem to like it when I was the fit 30 year old swarthy guy dating 22 year old college women and doing well financially.
@@chriscroteau931 Your friends wanted you cleaning toilets the rest of your life. It's an insecurity thing. Be especially watchful of friends that didn't have a father figure growing up, especially so if you're better than him. He will be dragging your reputation through the mud behind your back.
You have a very good point. Staying in the same social circles forces you into a hierarchy with a fixed persona. If you step out of your designated character that everybody agrees on, they will reject you and think you're a psychopath or something... Better to just free yourself.
FACTS!!! The only thing I will say is people that don't have many friends (like me), also don't have many close family members. The lack of family part can be sad at times. With that said, I am never depressed. I am spiritually, mentally and emotionally heathy, I think because I focus on the Creator at all times.

You are the creator of your universe when no one is involved
