My family and I are admittedly quite spoiled when it comes to where we stay on property, so every time we stay somewhere new I say "no THIS is my favorite," but Wilderness Lodge holds a very special place in my heart.
Same! I've known this would be a bucket list stay for me for a while, but I just learned about the Royal Asante suite at AKL and have to say I won't rest easy until I get to stay there!😂

I’m not staying in a room that fancy, but I’m coming from Australia in April and staying at Wilderness lodge. After 3 years of research ( mostly made up of videos featuring you - thank you so very much) it’s my dream hotel. I have happy tears while watching this. I’m so excited. This is a once in a lifetime for us.

So cool! One of my parent's very good friends, Nathan Jackson is the Tlingit artist responsible for one or more of the totem poles in the lobby! If you ever take an Alaska Cruise and stop in Ketchikan, you can visit his active workshop in the Native village of Saxman and see even more Alaska Native art!
I’m really glad to hear they hired an indigenous artist for those pieces. They’re beautiful and I’m glad to see they were sourced thoughtfully. Reminds me of our trip to Aulani where it was so moving to see all the local and indigenous art and design throughout the property.
For most people the Poly Bungalows are their bucket list stay, but this is mine. Will most likely never happen so it's nice to live vicariously through you two. It's so nice to see that even though you get to experience cool things and do a ton of Disney things most people can only dream of that you still don't take it for granted. Just 1 of the many reasons I will always support MC.

I was laughing so hard I had to hit pause after Molly figured out how to open the doors! That is going into my notes for the MAMFAM Awards! Wilderness Lodge looks so amazing! It is for sure going onto my must stay list. The joy we feel from both of you throughout these videos is magical and truly warms my heart! I am always happy when Molly can share her "girl math" with us! Love the staycation videos so much because you really teach us so much about the resort! I love doing laundry on vacation 😂. I pack less knowing I can just wash some stuff….and I love coming home at the end with a suitcase full of clean clothes versus dirty ones to do ❤❤
It makes me so happy to see you guys do these bucket list stays. Wilderness Lodge will always have a space in my heart because of family trip stays and core memories. I could honestly just sit in the hotel lobby all day and vibe. These cabins are another level though!

That blow dryer attachment is called a concentrator nozzle for sleek hairstyles. A diffuser is a bowl looking attachment usually for people with curly hair.
I will never be able to afford to stay there so thank you for letting us live vicariously through you!

The train room! It's the focus on Walt and the reverence and respect for what he stood for that makes your content so special, and stand out when it comes to Disney. I cannot wait to visit this space, which I had no idea existed before- better than any ride IMO! Thanks, as always, ya'll.

My husband introduced me to the Mam Fam this year and it’s become my mission to watch all the backlog. It’s continuously refreshing how appreciative y’all seem about the cool opportunities afforded to you. Also Molly crying makes me cry and I’m not a crier.

I own a DVC at Boulder Ridge and have since 2006. It is the best place to stay on Disney property... so much to do but yet so relaxing.
Literally 5 people might know this eference, but every time Molly gets emotional I say "stop! Romeo's crying!" ❤

I’m so glad you were able to stay in a cabin. It is absolutely my favorite DVC spot and we always try to save up enough points to stay there. We were supposed to stay there with friends in September, but our 20 year old kitty became severely ill the day before so we couldn’t go, but our friends did. They didn’t take videos, so this video allowed me to see a cabin again. Thanks again for an amazing video!
This video is a perfect example why I love Molly and Alan (and Max!). Hilarious, and heartfelt. Also, my wife and I have been happily together for 19 years, but Molly and Alan in the whispering arch is still 100% relationship goals. Love these people!

A couple years ago during a day off from the parks we resort hopped, and while at the Wilderness Lodge completed the Hidden Mickey scavenger hunt. It was so much fun and some of the Mickey’s were really challenging to find. We asked for the scavenger hunt at the front desk, and then the hunt took us on a tour throughout the resort finding the Mickey’s. Lots of fun.
I love how you guys just cherish the moments. Sitting by the fireplace and you teared up got me.
We need an Old Fashioned throwdown! I’d spend a day doing an Old Fashioned crawl.

We’re staying at Boulder Ridge for the first time at the end of April and we can’t wait! Our 7-year old is train/ Disney-history obsessed so we’re very excited to spend time in the train room. Thanks for the Casey Jr. representation and this awesome review! 👏🏽🐻 🚂 °o°💜

FYI - if you’re looking for a collective term to describe Native clothing/headdress/wearables, “regalia” is the preferred term. Not that y’all said anything wrong, I just heard the vocabulary indecision in your voice and I know you guys are always doing your best to be respectful and inclusive so I wanted to give you the word for future reference. 😊 This resort lobby is stunning and it’s definitely at the top of my deluxe stay wish list.

Would you ever do a video outlining the best places to get Allergy Friendly Food? For example, Celiac, dairy, soy friendly etc? I know it’s probably hard but would be amazing especially for the kiddos. Thanks again for your videos.

Apparently I happened upon those Disney 100 ears on their debut day. I was considering new ears for my trip in early November and picked them up online a few weeks before going. They sold out very soon after. I was a mini celebrity wearing them around the parks. So many people asking about them. So much fun!

Since I discovered DVC rental store, I love it and try to book through them as much as possible. I like them because they’re not like other DVC rental places… you can cancel if need to.
This resort is beautiful! I love how they bring back traditional craftsmanship. I've never been but would love to visit at Christmas one day!
Was wondering if you would ever do a video going through the step-by-step process for renting DVC points. I am interested in doing it, but a little nervous as I don't know exactly what the process is and I don't want to mess something up.

OMG!! I stayed there at their first opening in the summer of 94. It was actually the same time we were in our room and my mom was talking about a white broncho on the chase on TV. Yeah it was considered a moderate hotel then. I was 14. Now that I'm grown can't and will never afford it unless my husband gets lucky lol. Love these videos brings back the best part of my life.

As a person who lives in Canada, specifically the Pacific Northwest, I have seen this type of building many times, including totem poles, and there are definitely bears

There IS a fireworks view but you have to stay at (or get someone to get you into) the concierge level of the main building and there is a window you can look through that points right at the park. My wife and I were staying there (home resort) a few years ago and someone let us into the concierge level so we could see it on a night when she wasn't feeling well. It totally rocked. No sound, but it was fun to watch.
Wilderness lodge does have fireworks view rooms. Was unexpectedly upgraded to one last year. They’re on the top floor of the main building. Beautiful view with contemporary and the monorails.
Love that you guys get to experience this and to share it so we can enjoy it with you! Would love to maybe see what you guys think of the different hotel gyms /facilities and ranking them. I know working out on vacay isn't for everyone and the walking through the parks is a workout in itself (highest step counts ever) I feel it'd be nice to see what's available for guests. Maybe even a ranking of best/worst vacation fitness facilities.

We love Wilderness Lodge so much. For us it feels like a vacation from our vacation. The atmosphere almost forces you to stop & take it easy.
I was watching when Molly showed the inability to open the door from the other room and thought "there's a hinge dealie on the top of the outside... Push, don't slide" lol
We were at WL in November and ate at Geyser Point. We were able to see the fireworks pretty well along the water in front of Geyser Point. I have to admit that I started to cry when I watched Molly sitting in front of the fire place. It was so special. We have never stayed at WL but we go there every visit to eat. But... we just bought DVC and staying there next fall. Very excited!! Thank you guys for such fun videos!! We love learning fun facts and Easter Eggs and just watching you all have a MAGICAL TIME!!

This is perfectly timed. My husband and I are staying at Boulder Ridge in a studio from DVC Rental Store for the first time next week!
Those cabins are amazing! Stayed there a year ago with friends who are DVC owners. If offered to stay here or the Poly bungalows, which I’ve never stayed in, I wouldn’t hesitate to pick these cabins over the new experience of the bungalows.
Some people like the white clean fancy resorts but this is my style! AKL has been our favorite but hope to stay at Wilderness Lodge in November.

"And of course, bears, because this is a bear themed hotel." *singing* "it's a beaaar themed hotel... in heere" lol this video had some great lines that made me belly laugh. I genuinely love watching y'all's videos, it truly does just feel like I'm going on so many adventures with an amazing group of friends. Side note, Molly - I'm so happy you got those partner statue ears!!! I'm hoping one day I can maybe find a pair that's still in good condition on Ebay for not too much money lol can't wait for the next adventure!!

The Copper Creek cabin is absolutely the most memorable, beautiful place we have stayed at WDW. The best place to view the Magic Kingdom fireworks used to be at the end of the pier where the boats to Magic Kingdom come and go.

I wasn't even sure I wanted to watch this because I'm most likely never going to stay at this resort, but this is a testament to how awesome you two are. I watched the whole thing and was delighted the entire time. The two of you grooving to the electric water pageant made me laugh out loud (and something my husband would probably do lol.) This was a perfect combination of entertaining information, honest food reviews, humor, and heartfelt moments.
As we planned out 2024 trip this was on the list but alas we got a room at Animal Kingdom (our personal fav) and we couldn't pass up the deal! Maybe next year LOL
