You said you had a teacher they teach you all the Maqams or did they teach you basics and then you learnt the Maqams by yourself? I also have dyslexia but when there’s a will there’s way but I wonder how I’ll be able to hit the notes maybe memorising the songs or pieces will help, do you know anyone with dyslexia that’s learnt to play the Oud
Maqams are important to train your ear. You need to practice a lot to be able to train your ear. Maybe try to watch videos instead of papers if you have dyslexia. It will help you a lot good luck bro😀🎵
