Excellent interview with Dawn Robinson; which is the best one that’s authentic & organic! She’s one of my favorite artists, and appreciate how you made Dawn feel really comfortable!! Keep up the great work as always with #YKIGS!!!! 👊🏾👊🏾🔥🔥❤️❤️🙌🏾🙌🏾
I remain mystified at their inability to get this shit together. En Vogue was about the unique alchemy of the 4 girls. None of them are more important than the others. And so it's weird that they just can't honor that. I really wish the original girls could get it together. I mean even if they did a New Edition and put out an album with the 5 of them with Rhona, that'd be cool. There's just no reason for this kind of animosity to continue.
Terry and Cindy own the rights to En Vogue so now they control everything. Dawn said on another interview that Rhona is paid a lower rate than what she and Maxine would be paid. Ultimately, I think it all boils down to jealousy. Dawn vocals are far more superior and they know that. She said at the charity event they took “Don’t Let Go” off the set list. To me, that explains it right there.
Singer.Dawn Robinson was then and now still one of the most talented unique euphonious Singer who if En Vogue or Lucy Pearl had her singing more lead YOU ALL WOULD HAVE BEEN RICH
Great interview. It was interesting to hear about all the behind the scenes drama and definitely look forward to the movie someday. Money disputes destroy many relationships. All that aside, thank you En Vogue for sharing your gifts. It would be great if you got back together, but even if you don't we'll always have your incredible music. People throw around iconic but you ladies truly are. From the killer harmonies and the beauty, to social justice (in songs like Free Your Mind th-cam.com/video/i7iQbBbMAFE/w-d-xo.html) you did it all. THANK YOU!
I love Dawn, but I had to roll my eyes early in the interview when she called the COVID pandemic a “population control” conspiracy. 🙄 But the rest of the interview was really interesting. I was surprised and impressed with how candid she was about all the behind the scenes drama.
I think some people are shocked with how blunt Dawn can be. lol En Vogue craze deleted one of my comments because I said Cindy and Terry didn’t want Dawn and Maxine to have anything in reference to “funky divas.” I’ll stay away from there.
Its safe to say THERE IS NO EN VOUGE WITHOUT DAWN ROBINSON 😘
U are 💯% Correct
Pretty much sales declined after she left. Cindy herself said that EV3 would've sold more had Dawn still been in the group.
I still love En Vogue, I have the CDs after Dawn left the group and they are all amazing.

Always was my fav! love you Dawn!
Dawn seems like a nice 👍🏽 person. I like that she's not 🚫 bitter and doesn't bash anyone.
Great interview Tom #Salute

@Perverted Alchemist fair point
52:00 well said
Good Grief she went through a lot and a lot of opportunities didn't pan out for her but a lot of them did though shame on the shady music industry.

She was great 👍🏽 in Lucy Pearl . Wasn't the same vibe when she left
Envogue wasn't the same after Dawn left.

Finally a black woman (Dawn) that's not believing everything she's told.
Refreshing to hear her think for herself. Try it sometime.
@@ChrisP3000xAgreed. Dawn is too real, that's why she's had such a tough time in the industry as a solo act. She refuses to be a phony or a pushover.
All these interviews, she should’ve had stuff prepared musically. It would have been the best strategy

I agree with her Rhona seems nice, but we would like the original
Windy William send me here
Think LSG did the supergroup thing first. Before Lucy Pearl.
They did she was wrong.
