So beautiful from the girls,Lucy is such a profesional but also so natural & Martha has come on leaps & bounds, she has just turned 15 yrs of age!,also Lucy now has over 1 million subscribers a great Christmas present for her,she is an astonishing young lady, the next 12 months should be very exiting for those of us who love & respect her!.😊
Travis, your emotional reaction to this sister duet is totally understandable. Lucy and Martha undoubtedly have a natural gift but in addition, their shared genetics have created unearthly harmonies of exceptional quality. Individually, they are fine exemplars of vocal virtuosity. In harmony, musical magic starts to happen. Thank you for your ongoing support of highest quality music.
The sound here is just soooooo pure....it's unreal. I'm ready to give these girls the vocal crown now (well ages ago actually). They're just on another level in every way. Lucy has the purest voice I've ever heard and her only competition looks like it might come from her sister. Martha was on her heels here. Just amazing. Period.
Travis, my brother, we ALL have shed tears to Lucy (and Martha).........now, you know why we call your heartfelt reaction is what the 'Lucy effect' can do........yeah, it's a beautiful thing........dude, I haven't made it thru the first stanza of "Someone You Loved" without bursting into tears, it'll tear you up.......
this duet has a strong influence on a person's mood, in these voices you can hear not only whistles but tones so pure that you can say that they are angels sent to their parents, both girls have the same eyes, slightly different voices but extremely
I do appreciate your heartfelt reaction. Note the end of the song, Lucy looks at Martha, saying with her eyes, "My beautiful sister. I am so proud of you". That, to me, was so heartwarming.
Lucy and Martha are here singing like the 2 angels that they are. Pure and soothing and superb harmony. Martha is very impressive. Her voice has now matured and she is amazing! Lucy is in a class of her own. Untouchable.
Hi Travis .What a beautiful rendition of this beautiful carol .The best version I have ever heard. It fills you with emotion. Have a great Christmas and Thanks for your continued support for Lucy & Martha.
Indescribably beautiful from these two talented young ladies. But we really shouldn't have been surprised as this standard of performance is the norm for Lucy and Martha. The only thing missing is your dear wife. It would have been fascinating to hear her reaction to this wonderful performance.
It would be nice to hear the whole song without stopping it.especilly when you just start getting into the song ,it sounds Beatiful I`ll have to find it at another place where they don`t interfere .
its incredible and if you checkout her cover of the song smile Lucy not only sings it with Martha but the also have their mum Louise join in for Mother,s day last year
Part of the chemistry between them really is genetics, as you said, because their mother Louise also has a great voice! You should react to the mother/daughter trio of them singing Charlie Chaplin’s classic 1936 old song “Smile.” Lucy and Martha have done several wonderful duets together, all reaction-worthy.
Martha is 5-1/2 years younger than Lucy and is coming into her own. Lucy sings professionally ... Martha likes horses .. and sings with her sister for fun.
Yes, indeed, the Thomas sisters have a special sound together. Do not think that they have done bad song. All are so good, and full of emotions. Thanks for the heartfelt response. Not to detract from lucy and martha, but you might enjoy the National Danish girls choirs. They have been on the go since the 1930's, with the kids gradually making their way to the senior Pigekoret, (girls choir). You could try DR Pigekoret sing River(Joni Mitchell), Magnum Mysterium or Blackbird....to start with. The Juniorkoret sing a great White Water Hymnal, or Klimer et Klokker. The Bornekoret are great in singing Somewhere in my Memory/Carol of the bells of En Pige pik I enge. Give them a listen. I can forward you links if interested
Great reaction! Lucy and Martha's heavenly harmony gives me chills and trembles! I know you have already reacted to "THE PRAYER" duet by Lucy and Martha about a year ago. Please play and react to these Lucy and Martha duets: "O HOLY NIGHT" - Ages 17 and 12 th-cam.com/video/Bbu6AII10Pk/w-d-xo.html and "MARY DID YOU KNOW" - Ages 19 and 14 th-cam.com/video/YNp4BP-QcLY/w-d-xo.html Enjoy! Well..... it's the family genes that the 2 sisters can sing, they do a beautiful job and harmonize beautifully, BUT.... that is NOT unusual as there are THREE siblings that sing and harmonize that I have found, LIFE IN 3D, two brothers and a sister that are also unbelieveable check them out they have 42 songs recorded and 4 CD's.
No other singer I know of has Lucy's ability to bring tears to the eyes, sometimes even when she is barely a few notes into the song. So rare.

If a man cries , this is probably a highest level of mastery that Lucy has achieved. And in a duet with Martha this is something incredible.
just lovely
I too get emotional hearing this beautiful performance!

As someone perceptively said "blood harmonies " .... heavenly

Wilbur, also check out "Foxes & Fossils", a folk/rock/blues band here in the U.S.; great band!
