    You’ve been asking the bigguns, so here you go! How on earth can I live and work in Ireland as an American citizen? Why did I live off-grid? How did I end up here!? Watch my babble-fest to find out!
    As always, thanks for being here on this journey with me.

    Wow! So much respect for you! The strength it took to push on with everything that happened to you, I can only imagine. I appreciate your subtlety around the 16 election, it certainly terrified me and I’m Canadian! Are you considering opening a “buy me a coffee” so we can contribute in our very small way?

    You are living my dream. I know it must feel like heaven to live there and know you are safe. I’m 52 and know I will never live there. It is the only thing on my bucket list. I don’t have many friends. Well really only two but they are as broke as I am. So if I save I would have to go alone and that in itself is so scary. I pray everyday I will make it over there. I have the island tattooed on my forearm with a heart over castle bar. I love your videos and hope to see more of the landscape and what is the town like. Ireland has always been a dream of mine. My dad say I would never make it I would never be enough of anything to be able to go. Now I pray I want to see it before I die. The excitement you are feeling is real. That is how I feel just planning and reading and getting on goggle earth and walk the streets that way.
    If there is anything you need or something you are missing from the states. Let me know.
    Would you be my eyes? I haven’t had a really pin pal in 40 years.
    I do follow you on TikTok. 😊
    I make crafty stuff. I could send them and you could sell them we spilt it 50/50. Gives you some money and then I could start saving for a visit to castle bar and up north to kiss the stone. 😊

      You are so sweet. Hold on to that feeling you get when you imagine being here and let go of all the reasons you’ve been told it can’t happen. Miracles are abundant!! Keep creating, sell your stuff, believe you deserve your dreams to be true because you do!!!! I’ll make a video of the town soon for you 💛

    Welcome to Ireland. May the road rise up to meet you. So good to see Americans crossing the ocean since for so long in history, America was Ireland's life saver. With your Englush lit background, perhaps you will produce a great book(movie). Blessings galore. Slainte. P..S. Perhaps you can get involved in making some apple pies as this is the season and Halloiween is just fun, fun.

    WOW! Your courage and perseverance is inspiring! I have often thought about leaving this country. Humanity, morality, and kindness is quickly disappearing and it is heart breaking. I would love to travel to Ireland, such a beautiful and historically rich country. Biggest hold back, I am terrified to fly 🤪 The best of luck to you and your daughter!!

      I'm also terrified to fly. Haven't since I arrived in Ireland! Big decisions are often scary. Important things often are, too! I'm sorry it's so rough in the states. I feel very lucky to be out of there and also very sorry for those who cannot leave. But I have faith in the American people

    Cead Mile Failte. The Butter Roads were the routes used by farmers to carry butter by horse and cart to the Butter Exchange in Cork.I am from
    Clonmel in County Tipperary Bulmers Cider Country.

    • @wild.in.ireland
      @wild.in.ireland  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How cool! My friend said they are called Butter Roads because the farmers would have their milk in the carts in the back and they'd go fast on the straight road but the ups and downs would churn the milk into butter! Ha!

    Loved listening to your story and how brave and courageous you are. You have had a lot of knocks and still 'here you are' telling the tale with a big smile on your face. Never give up the dream just focus and know 'without a doubt' that the Universe will provide. You have already proven you are a very positive person so now be specific on exactly what you want. I wish you and your daughter all the happiness in the world you deserve it. God Bless!

    You should start a Patreon channel. Ask Annie and Bruce how it works. I have done Patreon for several people. I do it for a few months and hope it helps them. Personally, the reason I usually swop to someone else is if the person stops doing content. Folks sponsor channels for up to date content in between TH-cam videos, but when the person stops doing that, subscribers get bored and move to the next person. You could just do it for the savings to buy a home of your own. It would soon build up.

    • @wild.in.ireland
      @wild.in.ireland  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Regina! I did try a patreon via TikTok but it never really took off! If the TH-cam grows a bit, I’ll consider it again. As I’ll have things I can’t necessarily share publicly in the near future. Thanks for the suggestion!!! 💛

    Hey Lee just wanted to say love the format, not that I don't like your other stuff, or maybe it's cause I watch a lot of TH-cam talking vids, but really enjoyed this one 🥰

    • @wild.in.ireland
      @wild.in.ireland  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey hun!! Thanks! I worry this is too much of me blabbering but truth be told, I also watch loads of this style video myself!! Hope you’re good, friend!!!

    • @karlaholden
      @karlaholden ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol then blabber girl!!! I think nothing of putting on a 3 hr talking vid 😂 I can work easier with a talking vid, the music gets me and I have to boogie if I just put music on! So can sit and watch a 30 min no bother. Think that's what I like about the longer format over TikTok, you can get a whole story rather than a rushed get-it-all-in. Your looking good and as of your in a better place which is lovely to see. All kicking off my end! Big changes! Lol profile pic might be changing, intro shall be posted on the tok later today 😂 😜

    I am so happy I found your channel! I loved hearing your story! I am a 34 yo single mom. I have a 2 yo. I dream of moving to another country before she starts school for the same reasons. Do you have any advice on jobs in Ireland? If I were to go back to school what are good/higher paying careers there?

    I think what is interesting is the triskele on the fallen tree. If that's not a sign I don't know what it. I have Irish citizenship because of my parents and I live in the UK, but after the events of the last few years I do am thinking of returning to my ancestral home.
