I used to think that the drugs were making the music magical, but after being sober for over a year I can't say that you really don't need to be high to get that butterflies in your stomach. There's something special about this band. Good enough for moe.
I came to the same realization Moe.is a special band with a special place in my heart. I’ve never been to mountain jam but I’ve been to a few Moe.downs where I got my real introduction to Moe. I live a little over a hour away from snow ridge. Congratulations in your sobriety,I’m proud of you
moe. Favorite band of All Time. After 40 live shows & hours of musical pleasure, I feel the same as my 1st show in 2001 “Ahh…This is what music should sound like!” Much love to Al, Rob, Chuck, Vinnie & Jim!
Ya know anyone who would hit the thumbs down button I feel sorry for! What an incredible point of history this is that I was so lucky enough to be able to experience such things like performing and partaking in amazing music like this! So your existence must be so lame and passionless, that you arrived at this video and felt compelled to click the thumbs down. I feel sorry for you!
I did not even realized what happened until I read this comment, I see them every may and they didnt even miss a year. I'm glad that as of now, robs cancer battle was pretty short.
Yeah I was there for this ! Great show ... honestly I like moe. Down better because you get all the moe. all weekend but these were 2 great sets they were happy to rock a MTN JAM crowd finally. I think this was the only Moe.ntain jam performance ever and it was a good lineup that year. I ❤️moe.
Tight changes with layers of Jim’s tinkling of the malate’s cascading down punctuated by some well-placed power chords by Chuck, Rob’s driving bass line, and the clack clacking of the timbales and various percussion mixed with Robs singular vocal styling’s, add the wonderfully tasty electric lead by Al and you get ‘Rebubula". Love me some Rebubula.
I ran across a box in a trailer i bought that had all kinds of things in it and in the box was probably 25-30 home made recordings on cassette tapes. On front of tapes was "MOE". Alot of tapes had pictures of the band. Whoever recorded all of them must have been at all their gigs. Looks like a tape for every time they played somewhere. May have been a band member. If anybody is interested in them let me know will gladly let you have them. I just googled moe band and it took me here,
Does this offer still stand? I would love some! I definitely don't need all of them, (unless you are trying to get rid of all in one go) but some moe. tapes to add to my collection of 8-9 phish tapes would be wonderful!!
@@angelotroiola8705that was a complete lie. They googled Moe. and saw the line about “tapes impossible to find” so they wanted to feel special for a minute.
Years ago I heard “okayalright” and thought cool! wasn’t until I heard some sick extended live “Tweezer” type jams on Pandora and was blown away. Wtf have I been missing!?!? Better late than never👍🏼✌🏼🔥
Anyone ever notice that the last note of the main bass line always seems flat by a half step? It's really subtle & I like the way it gives it a more aggressive feel while maintaining the sheer beauty of everything else going on.

20 yrs outside the States the 2 things I miss the most are Jam Band Festivals and Ballparks.
Al sporting the Braves hat, too cool!
errr, and family and friends :-o
So freaking sweet. Dad raised me on jambands. It's the kind of music that takes you on a real journey.
Whoever allowed ads midway on this perfect performance should feel bad often
Ad blockers have existed for like 15 years fam.
@@CosmosArchipelago in the youtube app? Tf you talking about fam?
We love you moe.! Thank you for all you have done! Much love to you folks!
The 11:27 change into the jam gets me every time 🤘🏼

One of the best versions ever IMO.
I disagree
Warts and Vol 2 is a crazy sick version.

Beauitful session

Awesome. Reminiscent of Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead and Santana. My son was there about 30 from center stage. Wish I could've seen it live.
This was such a fun night
that is one hell of a stage
I remember this at Mt Jam
You guys really made the festival the best Love you all 😎🍻
