That’s how I keep my hair. If I let my curls be for too long they will get knotted up so I pick it from time to time and just put it in a pony tail👍🏽

GuntherDaGreat I would LOVE IT if you can actually blow dry/out your afro to stretch it even more. And maybe you could also 'freeze' it in place as in most hair cosmetic stores they have these hair spray products that allows you to shape and skupt your hair and I believe its called a firm hold or super hold spray, I never tried one before but it does freeze hair in place like, it makes your natural hair stiff and hard that it doesn't hang down or bounce.

I've always wanted to have the perfect afro, but mine never looked right. Plus it reverts right back to curls after washing. 🙄 one of the drawbacks of having naturally curly hair. I heard if you use a straightener comb it could help, but hell na thats doing too much. 🤣

How does it behave when soaked with water or when heavily moisturized?
@@dionjeremy1711 it still curls but hangs all the way down. It elongates the hair so it gives my hair long hanging curls
@@user-ro3vr4ql8n I personally only comb my hair once a week and leave it curled for the reminder of the time . This keeps it clumped and reduces breakage. If you leave it clumped when wet you can begin from There. I'm also in the military so you can use this method with limited amount of time in the morning.

Don't know how you call it in English, but here in the Caribbean, we do braids "nattes" or you call it twist, if I remember well.
You a warrior for detangling yo hair every morning in the past, but have mercy on you and do braids /twists instead.An afro everyday is not advised for our type of hair.
