No "adjustments" are happening and all of these movements and cracks can be done yourself. Going to a chiropractor is a waste of money and they tell you to come back for multiple visits because gravity doesn't magically cease its effects on the body after a joint is stretched. To summarize, learn what's actually happening when you crack a joint and crack your own joints.

This is fine if: You are young, and your chiropractor truly knows what he is doing. Do NOT let someone do this to you if you are older and have spinal degenerative issues. I had a guy do this to me when I was in my 30's and he messed up my neck and sped up the degenerative damage by several years all in 30 seconds. Now I have two Mobi-C's and one fusion. I wish I had never gone. Your milage *will* vary.
