Hello Electro University. My question is how can you find a very specific potentiometer, like the OEM stock one from a product you have disassembled. On the Potentiometer of mine it says ''4K7 LOG A8''. I'm %90 sure it was made by Siemens and the product is from 1979. But no other code at all. If I can try to source this. Where can I find new old stocks?

If you have a very old potentiometer, you can start by searching online marketplaces for the exact model you need. It’s also worth exploring specialized electronics suppliers that might carry these components. Additionally, contacting Siemens directly could help, as they might have information on a compatible modern equivalent. Hope that helps!
