@muskymastery Awesome! Another thing I’m curious about is how you properly set the drag, spool tension and brake for the various lures/rods. Is it a set and forget thing or are you tweaking those components based on rod/lure? Thanks! -Adam
@@MuskyMastery - Thanks Chas. I fish in New York State. Some great waters for both purebred musky and also New York State Environmental Conservation stocked tiger muskies. I was wondering if, based on your experience, is much of the vlog content directly transferrable from purebred muskies to stocked tiger muskies or are there some unique attributes we should bear in mind when targeting tiger musky waters? Thanks again! Andy
Well done Chas! No BS system is a must, changed the game! Great information brother can't wait to have a functioning trolling motor to try out these tips, hahaha!
Great episode Chas! I love the whiteboard series. I completely agree on the No BS leader system - I switched to that full time last year and won't go back. I keep a split ring pliers in my tackle box or pocket for easy lure changes and replace the split rings when they get a little looser (but they last a long time and won't ever break suddenly like a snap can. Question for an upcoming episode: does lure color matter? Any tips or theories on natural/fluorescent, white, black, vertical perch bars? Thanks!
@@deanmentjes7774 thanks Dean! I’m pumped to hear that the no BS system is working for you! I love it. And yes - lure color will be covered on an episode soon!
how much time, if any do you spend on structure that is on the opposite side of the wind blown side of a reef/hump? percentages if not zero Just trying to weigh the importance of wind blow. And to muck up the question, what if the current is opposite the wind? does wind trump current or the opposite or no winner?
@@davidhardt9924 windward side and leeward side are an excellent topic for conversation dude. Wow, and throw current in!!?? Now we have an excellent opening question for the next vlog series video!!! DUDE! Thanks for your support and for adding a great topic for conversation
Dude, fantastic vlog as always. With all the many lakes and each with their own "uniqueness", how do you remember the subtleties of each? Do you have a journal system or do you rely on your electronics and waypoints? Lastly, you need a different color water cup. The light green effect just isn't you. LOL! Thanks, Dude!
@@joehofman2956 Joe (Scott) really appreciate the love and support! I will go in-depth into answering these questions on the next episode. Great questions to dive into!
On a future episode could you please provide a screenshot of what perch and other baitfish look like on side imaging and down imaging? Great series. Thanks.
This is it Mr. Martin! Keep the long format coming. Learned a ton from this episode!

Love this series! Thanks Chas for spreading the knowledge.
Could you do a bit on the knot or knots you use in the leader video?
@@Arms08 thanks Adam! And yes, we can talk knots on the next episode for sure dude 👍
