All of their models are in gold tone as they're dress watches. Yes you're right bcz of the roman aesthetics,it's named as roman also more than 90% of their models have roman numerals/indices. As I mentioned this series was an higher end series,some models come in 17.5k gold plating,some have swiss made parts in them,some have 2 or more jeweled quartz movement in them. One particular roman chronograph is very popular among the collectors,it's pretty yet rare to find. I got 2 roman models from last 2 years. They were available on the site quite frequently before..but now it's pretty rare to find one. It's a steal deal to get one under 1.6k

It comes occasionally Trick to buy hmt watch is ti check the website in in between 9::00am to 10:30am this is time whn the website get refreshed (probably). I bought in that time slot. Look bro. They're out of mechanical hmts and certainly they'll not come back in stock again. But you can get a ladies mechanical watch for a real cheap! For men,I would suggest you to look for one from a reseller either a new old stock or a pre-owned

Pls don't believe in the present day HMT gold plating. Both of my ₹8500 and ₹1500 HMT watches started to lost their gold plating within 30 & 7 days respectively !

Yes! Handful few can't revive the brand. It will need to start with the community who by the way need to be selfless and understand the current needs and not just produce watches that a select few people like. There needs to be decent stock for each of the models if they want to regain the trust of their customers

It,s just a camera angle, or that dial is not properly middle aligned? See that side track design on the dial.
It looks alright to me. A issue on the dial I noticed later was a tiny speck on it
