I personally really like that colour blue for the shirts, maybe a new design for it would be a fun way to use them up! maybe something about having your head in the clouds? Or something cloud themed? I think big white fluffy clouds would pop on such a saturated colour, or even a rainbow coming out of a cloud with a cute quote / pun?
My business is based in the States, but regarding the Christmas market, if you know that Christmas will be busy enough it would be worth hiring someone seasonally to pack orders during that week you're out and maybe even for the rest of the holiday season. I also highly recommend charging your customers VAT at the market. When we do in person markets here we have to collect state and local tax which we don't have to do online. Sales tax is just a part of purchasing things in person and most people understand that! I'm new to your channel but I love your editing style and I'm excited to be a part of your journey from now on!
I think the bright blue would work really well within your brand. I like the ideas some other peeps have left in the comments such as making "bright ideas" the theme and having them as a one-off limited edition. If it saves brain/energy work involved in returning them etc then it's a win! Great video x
I think that being in John Lewis at Christmas time, though stressful, will just put SO many new eyeballs on your stuff, and the positive ripple from that will only be felt later. If it was me, I would go for it, and then evaluate whether or not its worthwhile to ever do again. As long as you're not making a loss on anything- think of it as a marketing exercise.
That's exactly what I've chosen to do! Paid the deposit too, aaaah! It'll definitely be such a big experience! Thank you so much for your advice, it really helps xxxxx
Those are a lot of fees for a market! I’m pretty sure you’ll make a lot of sales. It just comes down to how much you want to expose your brand and how much stress you are willing to take for that time of year. You can always start your holiday phase for your online shop early so it can alleviate last minute buying(not that won’t happen). At the end of it all, choose what will make you the happiest. 😊
No me currently sat in my 'designing & Thriving' T-shirt whilst watching this, thinking that I was very lucky to get one in the launch! 😄 I really like the look of the sky blue colour. 💙
i love the sky blue a lot :)! i love how more saturated and warmer it is :-D. You can advertise the sky blue as limited edition to whatever design you have. :)!
Have you got a family member or friend who could do the orders / packing for the John Lewis week ? You could print the orders in the evening and drop all kit for packing to them at their house or if they can come and help you pack etc in the evenings for a couple of hrs in that week if you can’t hand over responsibility for it during the day, maybe someone you know could do with a little bit of extra money for Christmas ? Love the T-shirts and larger designs, good luck with sorting out the Christmas Markets and John Lewis, such a great opportunity if you can get it all together 🥰
Yess! My only issue is everyone works full time 9-5 so sourcing help is a little bit of an issue 🤔 I'm still figuring it out but I think my partner may be able to help. I'll figure something out I'm sure - it's so daunting! So glad you love the t-shirts! Thank you so much for watching and have a lush day! xxx

Congratulations on the sell out of your t-shirts! They do look great and hope to get one for me some time too. The purchase of your own heat press is a great idea and I agree it will help with those sells that you have run out of but can quickly put one together in no time. Don't risk losing sales! I love your new T's. I can't believe you manage to fold them all without a Sheldon T-shirt folding board..
