    Sir for different common origin ,will the hypothesis change or remain same

      For a different problem...
      In my book they took a number as common origin and i took a different number...
      In book there was one hypothesis accepted other two rejected...(columns,rows ,treatment)
      For me 2 was accepted one rejected

      You can take any Origin.
      The following values should not change.
      SST, SSC, SST, SSK, SSE.
      You may do mistake somewhere.

    Sir....ur answer is correct..when you take common orgin as 120. But I take common orgin as 121 but the answer is also same.. but the total value is different... ans is right...how? How the answer is equalised...

      Consider the data, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 6, 7 8, 9, 10. Find standard deviation & variance.
      Also consider the data, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20. Find standard deviation and variance.
      You will get the same answers.
      If you add or subtract a particular number from each data, you will get a new set of data. Then the SD and variance will be same for the both datas.

      1.Randomly select one number from the given numbers.
      Or
      2. Find the largest and smallest number, select the midpoint to these two numbers and rounded to whole number.
      It is easy for mind calculation to subtract 20 from any other number.

      We are in the calculation of variance.
      Consider the data, 1,2,3,4,5.
      Find variance to these data.
      And Consider another set of data 11,12,13,14,15. Find the variance.
      You will get the same answer for both of these data.
